I'm pretty sure we wouldn't be allowed to have a kid - we can barely keep the dog alive.

Naw, I hear kids are easier. Because they can let themselves outside to use the bathroom and they don't have all that hair so you can just spray them down in scalding hot water to clean them. They also have opposable thumbs, so they can feed themselves.
