The Taris Event Chapter 2 OOC Thread
I'm going to be training a noob for a good chunk of the day today so for now just assume Eli is assisting with herding Dewbacks in whatever way he can to get the cargo loaded, then once we're off planet and in hyperspace I'll be doing alot of studying and occasionally bugging people to spar with me so I keep in fighting trim.
They say when you go on a quest for vengence to dig two graves. They underestimate me.

I wasn't hiding the booze from anyone, it's just where it belongs. It's medicinal!

I'm going to get drunk, shovel dewback shit, and let Eli punch me in the face a few times.

How much is a dewback worth and will the local merchants accept one in trade?

Re: The Taris Event Chapter 2 OOC Thread
Okay I'm going to say dewbacks are worth on Tat about 700cr.
I'd also like to remind you that you have 1000 credits tied up in escrow serving as insurance on the shipment as it goes(you only get the money back if the 18 dewbacks make it alive to the point of delivery). Also you only get paid for healthy dewbacks who make it to Bryx. You get paid 1,000 cr/dewback for a total of 18k to deliver them. And then you'll get your 1,000cr back.
So let me ask you is it really worth it to try and steal a dewback to sell on the black market?

So we deliver 17, get 17K credits and forget about the escrow, what's the problem?Blackferne wrote:Okay I'm going to say dewbacks are worth on Tat about 700cr.

A. At this point, I am quite pleased that I have my own ship.
B. This crew standing around in cowboy hats while covered in mu is all I can picture.

Oh good. I was meaning to ask you to specify what you were looking for because I didn't see it in the core rule book and haven't fully scoured the KOTOR one yet.Whiteness wrote:FYI - the droid I'm looking for is on page 89 of the KOTOR supplement.

Good thing Vesp isn't on this mission. He would see moaning dewbacks as "camouflage".

Re: The Taris Event Chapter 2 OOC Thread
Since this is the first split of the party. I will be fast forwarding tomorrow to Wailer's arrival on Lok (unless he has some particular thing he wants to do while in transit).
So I'll start putting the dates more frequently on posts to help ID where we are in given timelines.
Should communication need to occur between group 1 and group 2 I am assuming that is being done via holonet. PM me your message with some kind of 5-7 unique ID codish looking thing EXP45T7 for example in the header and I will note on my calendar when the message is supposed to arrive to the others on the calendar. If you guys meet up again obviously the person furthest in the timeline needs to wait for the other to arrive.

One burns off darkside points by noble and good acts. You are going to have to be like extra awesome to Slick as you are alone at the moment.

Unless you force point persuaded him to ignore the large sign on the wall and past his epic apathy probably not. Czerka Corp is large enough that they will never haggle.Whiteness wrote:I keep forgetting about force points, would one have helped me haggle the snot-nosed brat at Czerka's?

Am I wrong in thinking that adding a vocabulator will let this thing speak Basic? I would think mechanic-Syric would know better than Whitey. Just wondering whay the kid is confused.
