True, but considering all of the conversations we have had, the son of a shipping magnate in the group, and the collective experience of our characters it's not unreasonable that one or more of our characters would have known that when we as players would have no reason to, and those types of things it's the duty of the GM to bring them to our attention.Dood wrote:In fairness, nobody asked. Also I don't think he quite expected Dood & So Leet's Wild Ride.

All these things are in the fucking rulebook actually. So these are the types of things we, as players, could know too if we read the book.

I'm treating hackign to alter, delete or populate the BoSS Secret since there are serious authentication issues and it is also hostile -10. That is how I am getting the 40.Whiteness wrote:Where did you see that, I only saw it had a Will defense of 25 and was hostile, but I honestly don't know what that means specifically because I didn't plan on trying to hack it myself. It says it's almost impossible to add, edit or remove records, but it doesn'thave info on how to just view it.Blackferne wrote:Hacking the BoSS is a DC 40.
I was wondering if it was possible to look up a similar ship so we could mask our transponder to show up as it instead.
To view the information it would be DC10 class indifferent (-2)

Re: The Taris Event Chapter 2 OOC Thread
I think it was fine in game time, we spent one day trying to figure out if we could even find a ship, and if I remember right not everyone even wanted to buy one. We only lost one day and if we didn't get the money last night we'd still be trying to figure out how to get a ship today.

Okay I probably should have mentioned the licensing stuff before, but it wasn't really even an issue until Arrican found a wonderful loophole to completely bypass the jobs I had lined up for you.

Just think if you take and pass the Pilot's test you can demand people call you CAPTAIN Frost.

So the amateur nightly fights, when I left last night Atta asked if I would be there next week, is there a 1 fight per week limit, because they way you wrote it up it looked like I barely got touched so I'd be at full HPs and stuff right now, in which case if possible I'd be headed back again tonight...

There is a part of me that thinks it would be fun/funny to try to register Eli as well as a pilot. I'd just need a 10 or better to pass...

I think I'll wait to see what happens with Syric and Dood. I'm assuming you are going to have them roll since although they are trained pilots they both have a chance of failure...
Also you never answered my question a page or two ago about how often I can fight on amateur night...

Re: The Taris Event Chapter 2 OOC Thread
On my spread sheet I am going to make an entry for "Aderbrent" that has company money (which is separate from personal money). This is intended towards company purchases. When you donate money to the cause (ie So Leet buying the ship) you get a share of the business. Currently and officially Arillius owns 100% of the firm with 10k contributed.

I'm confused. I'll go ahead and say Dood isn't, but RumDood is.
Are both me and Syric going for our license?
Further, in order for Arrican to buy the ship in the company's name, he's going to either need me or Syric there to sign for it (as operating officers of Aderbrent) or does anyone in our group have a datapad I can use for creating a datacard with our authorization?

Amateur night is once a week. Tonight would be semi-pro night 1k payout, tougher competition and you'd need to show proof you have won at least 5 tournaments at the amateur level.
