Re: LPDnD: We Come From the Land of the Ice and Snow!
All right, then this is how it goes.
Trinal uses his "Energetic Flight" power, which lets him move his full speed flying until the end of his next turn.
He moves to the square with the small blue smiley face and drops down into the middle of the boat.
He casts Thunder Leap: D20+11 vs Fort, targeting C, D, G and H. Damage is 2d6+10.
Damage roll: 7+10=17
Attacks:
C: 17+11=28
D: 15+11=26
G: 12+11=23
H: 8+11=19
He flies through the air, and lands on top of J.
Secondary attack: d20+11 vs fort, damage 2d6+10, targets B, C, J, F and G. Trinal's using his Thunderwave staff daily power to knock prone instead of push.
Damage roll: 3+10=13
Attacks:
B: 4+11=15
C: 3+11=14
J: 17+11=28
F: 5+11=16
G: 17+11=28
Anyone who is hit on that round takes an additional 4 points of damage (1d8) and is knocked prone.
Spending an action point, Trinal casts Burning Spray into the back of the boat. It will burn B, F and the aft mast. damage is 1d8+9
Damage: 3+9=12
Attacks (vs reflex)
B: 12+11=23
F: 8+11=19
Mast: 12+11=23

It would be most welcome if ranged attacks could be directed at those immediately around me, if they weren't knocked down.

Stavis will look to see if the enemy ships rail is low enough for him to blunder someone over the rail.

Oh, carp. That last attack (Burning Spray) should have covered A and E also.
Here's the attack rolls for them:
d20+11 vs Reflex:
A: 14+11=25
E: 19+11=30

@ stavis You could make someone blunder but as the final fall would be into water they would get a saving throw at a penalty.

I'm just waiting to see if Trinal the one man army has left any need for me to jump across.

(actually, I'm sure I caused a lot of havoc, but unless I miss my guess they're going to be tough)

Am I able to run across either of the light green squares or would my jump have to clear them as well?

Oh, and I guess my first attack with Thunder Leap would have hit the fore mast, so for completeness: d20+11 vs fort: 19+11=30 vs the mast.

Seeing Trinal leading the charge Syric quickly follows suit, charging forward and leaping across to the enemy ship. Upon reaching the deck he presses on and slashes wildly, at both men and mast.

Re: LPDnD: We Come From the Land of the Ice and Snow!
that "white" (actually light green) square is where the two ships are currently linked via their ram.
It can be used as a bridge or whatever. It has HP and can be attacked as well to free your ship.
