So the forum seems to be crawling really slowly this morning. I've opened a ticket with the host to see if we can get it fixed. Ugh.

Re: Forum bug thread
My slowness issues, especially at work, never did get solved. But today has been extra bad, I did get a couple http 504 bad gateway errors earlier today as well.

Re: Forum bug thread
We upgraded to a business class account to see if that would resolve the issue for you, but it is still a shared server environment. I never got word back on your trace route specifically, but I'm wondering if the typical day slowness for you is your end.Furiel wrote:My slowness issues, especially at work, never did get solved. Outside today does anyone else experience slowness on a regular basis?

I mostly visit the site from my Crunchberry phone, and I've NEVER had an issue. It's not even 4G, either.Blackferne wrote:We upgraded to a business class account to see if that would resolve the issue for you, but it is still a shared server environment. When I had my laptop, I never had an issue, either.

Re: Forum bug thread
Raikir and Furiel are you able to determine what ISP you are using when it is slow as balls? (today excluded)

Re: Forum bug thread
I haven't checked until now, but it seems to be running ok for me.
Re: Forum bug thread
I had some hiccups this morning. Although I have changed nothing on the back end of any of the blogs etc in the last few weeks, I went ahead and disabled any (once daily, at midnight) automated backups, in case they were misbehaving and taking up too many resources.

Shit be broke again. Reese is having issues and it's slow as fuck for me and I'm getting sporadic 504 bad gateway errors again today.

Re: Forum bug thread
If it were just "too much traffic" we'd be getting 500 errors like that time that haxxors were trying to ping the back end of wordpress. But we're not. One minute it's fine and snappy and the next it simply will not load, as if the page doesn't exist at all.

Re: Forum bug thread
p.s. for those of you following along at home, there was absolutely no traffic spike in the last... week. Seriously. It's pretty much a flat line of consistent activity for the entire month, including yesterday.

You may take this as my express written consent to use my trademarked phrase "bloated sack of fetus vomit" while talking to them.Blackferne wrote:Yeah this is really weird. Tonight I'm calling them and I don't know how polite I'll be.

As you know, I'm on here from my crunchberry 99 percent of the time.
Just got this while trying to send a PM:
General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]
Illegal mix of collations (latin1_swedish_ci,IMPLICIT) and (utf8_general_ci,COERCIBLE) for operation '=' [1267]
An SQL error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact the Board Administrator if this problem persists.
