Kyros: "My brother has been acting strange since he got back from the war."

Nicene: " I guess the oddest thing we saw was Moris going to the village after a messenger from Teucer's house delivered him a note. I had assumed that the families didn't speak, but Moris perhaps sees the folly of old disputes after the war. I dunno."

Kyros: Hmmm. Moris innocent? Well if it wasn't him, hypothetically, then it would have to be someone else who would benefit from bringing shame upon me or my family. The only people I could think of would be my father's rival Teucer. They have long quarreled, but that poses a problem of how to retrieve my cloak. If it were Teucer, he wouldn't know where I store it."

Soothsayer:" The mantle was given to a minotaur, please don't hurt me Tony Plush!"

Syric: "Kill those skeletons!"
Skeletons: POP
Party: "Ewwww"

The mantle is in your possession and you are walking back to town with a visible Nicholas talking to you, inquiring about lessons learned so far.

[Jimer Lins]

"Once we return the mantle, are we going to take any position on what should happen to Moris? What do we tell the rest of the family about what we've discovered, especially his involvement with Teucer?"

[Blackferne]

"One of the core questions of justice is how much people with power should intervene in the affairs of others." Nicholas says.

[Jimer Lins]

Trinal looks at Nicholas, and a wry smile crosses his countenance. He looks significantly around at the group, then back at Nicholas.

"Indeed?"

[Furiel]

"Most of what we know the rest of the family could easily know by asking a few questions. We do not even know how deep Morris' involvement with Teucer is or honestly if that's entirely a bad thing either. Tony Plush believes our best course is to return the mantle to Kyros, tell him what we've learned, if he wishes it we can present what we've learned to his father and beyond that it is the families business and we should leave it for them to handle as they see fit."

[Whiteness]

"I'd agree Tony, but if Morris was involved with the minotaur then he was involved with Orcus. I think there's more work ahead for us."

[Jimer Lins]

"We should also consider that Kyros may be playing his own game here."

[Furiel]

"Morris was involved with the Soothsayer. We do not know if he was directly involved with the minotaur or not. Seeing as how the minotaur is dead and we got just about everything useful we were going to out of the Soothsayer already unless you intend to interrogate Morris himself how would you suggest we continue this investigation?

Don't get Tony Plush wrong, he's all for rooting out and ending the followers of Orcus, but while we are here righting wrongs, what is happening back home? How much more of a foothold are Orcus and the other dark forces in the area gaining while there is no one there to oppose them? We need to realize, there is always another secret, but that doesn't mean we always have to be the ones to do all of the work in rooting them out."

[Jimer Lins]

"I tend to agree with my third-person colleague. I think it was good to have the discussion. Should we simply deliver the mantel and what information we have to Kyros, then? That would leave the remainder up to him."

[Dood]

"Anything that gets us from this plane to the one we belong in will be welcome. The enemies of Pelor continue to hold sway in our own time. Our own people still need us."

[Maizan]

I do not think we should give the Mantle to Kyros. He is not the person in charge. We should take this matter to his father. Give him the facts we know and let him decide what to do. If his father asks us to do more, then we accept. If we give this info the Kyros, he is just going to kill his brother.

[Blackferne]

[ooc] get ready to prep your lvl 6 character sheets. You guys will be getting XP parcels soon and unless my math is wrong everyone is onto level 6.

[Whiteness]

"Well Ham, what is going to get us home is jumping through these hoops the Bureau 17 is calling tests of virtue. I'd also like to get home as quick as we can."

Turning to Tony "I wasn't implying we continue the investigation, I just wanted to make sure it was clear we may have to do more than drop the mantle and truth at Kyros' feet. I think I'm in agreement with Spitnik about taking what we know right to their father. "

[Staris]

"Not that I am against doing more then just dropping off the mantel. I would point out we are borrowing these bodies. If they are anything like us, which is likely, even if we leave to the next area here soon it is doubtful they would go about their business like these events didn't happen."

[Blackferne]

Nicholas looks to Stavis, "I wouldn't worry too much about leaving your bodies in a bad spot. Earlier when I mentioned spiritual entanglement, I was being a bit coy. Your pasts and looks have been implanted in the collective memories of this town, and after you leave you will be a memory like a friend you haven't seen in a while."

[Whiteness]

"Let's get back to the villa and see if we can get an audience with Demtri. He seems to be in charge, so I think it's best we go to him."

[Blackferne]

The party gets to the villa.

"We need to speak with Demitri most urgently." Gobo adds.

"Of course." Aegon leads you through the property to a room where Demitri is reading over a few scrolls.

"Welcome back! I regret I didn't speak with you more at the feast the other night." Demitri says standing to hug each of you.
