The Taris Event Chapter 1 OOC thread
By the way, I'd like to take my bow for wasting probably the two best rolls I'll have for this entire campaign for the same action.

Re: The Taris Event Chapter 1 OOC thread
I just want to make something clear since we are starting. I assume you are not helping someone else with a task unless you mention you are helping and do the appropriate roll.
For example Whiteness searched the church for clues. I assume no one helped him with that. Bulwark searched the surrounding area and I assumed he was alone until Dood said he would help.
I'm not saying anyone has missed anything, but I just want to make that clear now in case it comes into play later.

I think stealth is the right choice. You would use deception if you were also trying to distract them to look at something else while you were doing it.Dood wrote:By the way, I'd like to take my bow for wasting probably the two best rolls I'll have for this entire campaign for the same action.

I'll need a willpower check to overcome any aversion to the smells you encounter and assuming you pass that I will need a fortitude check with a -3 modifier. If you fail that you will take 2d4 dmg.Bulwark wrote:can I help myself to whatever is in Jounville's fridge?Blackferne wrote:I just want to make something clear since we are starting. We're your friends, I'm sure aversion to smells is nothing to worry about any more.Blackferne wrote:I'll need a willpower check to overcome any aversion to the smells you encounter and assuming you pass that I will need a fortitude check with a -3 modifier. Never underestimate the power of an unclean fridge Whitey.
Also in other news Bulwark has really thrown in and designed how we will handle combat maps in the game.
http://www.thechurchofalvis.com/SWSE/ma ... /grid.html
click on the link and play around to see how it plays. It is written from scratch and may require a java update to your browser. This will only show how stuff is now, I will update as moves are made and stuff.
The stuff shown on the map currently are a college map bulwark found and some mobs for us to fight. It is not updated for our real current situation.

Just had a thought. If you roll a knowledge, perception, gather information check etc etc I will post the result openly as I have unless next to your roll you indicate (Private response). If you do that I will PM you the result and post something like
Arillius surveys the scene taking in the positions.
This way if you want to hold something close to your vest we can.

I will try a slide in here fairly soon. Busy day at work.Blackferne wrote:Probably Naboo.Bulwark wrote:where did the gungan jedi come from?
Gando got his character sheet into me at literally the last second. So he is not in the room but can arrive when he wants and has an RP reason for joining. This has been provided to gandolfini and it is up to him to exercise it when he can/wants.

I am very happy to have found a gungan translator. You, on the other hand, may not be so happy.

Re: The Taris Event Chapter 1 OOC thread
would it be out of character to refer to Kunga the Hutt as King Kunga?
And why are Hutts always crime bosses. Don’t they ever do anything for the arts? No Hutt sculptors or ballerinas?

Also, in the interest of being a dick I'd like to point out that having a Cerean in the party is a violation of canon, which states in the rulebook that Cereans didn't make contact with the rest of the galaxy until right before the fall of the Republic and the rise of the Empire.
