Have a reason to PVP and such

So Bungie just released the Destiny Moments of Triumph which you can see your progress so far, which they have suggested will reward you with things that can only be gotten with this. Don't know if this is a part of the VIP that they talked about for Taken Kings or and I think more likely this is something else that is above and beyond that.

It it includes finding all of the gold chests, 100 Crucible Wins, 50 Public Events, 35 PoE, completing all three stories and both hard mode raids.

I would include a link directly to it but you have to be logged in on Bungie's site to see your progress https://www.bungie.net. When you are logged in it should take you to the page but I had to leave and come back before the progress loaded correctly. That and the site seems to be getting hit pretty hard right now which I'm sure this is the reason.

So Furiel when we have some down time I'm all for grouping up to try and join some HM Raids and PVP.

Ugh but yeah it's gotta be done. But that's a lot of PvPing. I'm pretty terrible, like 2-15 all time terrible I think.

I will say I have more wins under my belt that I thought I did, but it probably wouldn't hurt if we tried to get a group together for it, just hard to justify that right now with PoE and Nightfall / Raid if we get enough of us on. Which I will say I'm surprised there isn't winning so many nightfall matches.

So the 100 crucible wins is clearly wrong. It says I have 30. I haven't even played 30 crucible matches, much less gotten 30 wins.

So right now I'm short the following triumphs:
30/100 Crucible "wins"
12/20 Golden Chests
Defeat Skolas - COMPLETED

are you sure you've check all of your classes, as I'm assuming that its across all toons. There is also the possibility that not all wins are worth 1 point. I currently have over 80.

Oh I'm positive. I haven't done 30 PvP matches total, I've only done crucible two nights EVER, and I'm confident I didn't do 15 matches a night, much less win 15 in a night.

I'm pretty confident that it's kills/assists as I'd believe I've killed or helped to kill 30 guardians.

The next couple nights I'm going to talk to people as I see them but I'm thinking either Sunday or Monday night to shoot for a Vault run on HM. Let's start knocking out those triumphs!

Since we did VoG HM yesterday I'm still up for doing it again or working on Crota. If we do Crota unless we bring in some from Reddit I would personally suggest we do Normal so we can get used to the mechanics, though I will leave final decision to Furiel since he will have a better understanding of how difficult the raid is.

Or we can ask for a Sherpa. There is a separate subreddit from Fireteams for Sherpa's, ie. people who like to run newer players through the raids. If we know we are going to have you, me, maarkin and midget for example and know we want to do it at like 8pm central on Sunday I can post there asking for a Sherpa to guide us through the raid on HM. Odds are pretty good we'd find one if I post by tomorrow night.

Just something to consider.

Just finished the pvp part so only need Crota now. Also got pocket infinitely and finished the 25 kill part.

One question would be are we on reddit for tonight or Monday or will we try and some other time?
