So turns out Legacy weapons are actually pretty awesome.

A few of you may remember me asking about legacy weapons and what they are good for, most of you replied with "Eke, shut up and go away"

However, I grabbed my Inheritance Smuggler Blaster Pistol about two days back on Lupin, and have been loving it ever since. I was told by another Alvian that it is a Purple item, which is not the case. They are yellow titled weapons (the only ones of their kinds I suppose?). As you level the gun levels with you, and not just the damage, all of the stats too.

So basically, you get it at 16 and it already out classes any orange gun you can mod. I figured why not use it then, but then I noticed when I hit 17 the gun went up to a Rating 50 when it was a 46 before, and not did 69-129 damage, as opposed to Flashy fully modded with Coruscant mods being a Rating 46 gun.

Basically this means that Inheritance weapons are the best guns in the game. Assuming they level with you all the way up to 50.

Just thought I would let everyone in on the secret that BW decided not to tell anyone.

Happy hunting with your alts!

Way cool.

It was that thingy you may have gotten in the mail by having a level 50 character or legacy level 6 or 7 by April 25th.

I think I am going to send mine to my empire alts to use.

Yeah, got a mainhand one for each 50 I had. I got an offhand one on a slicing mission return.

Turn it in at the legacy vendor at the top of the left "market" staircase on Coruscant.

You can buy more legacy gear with daily comms at the daily vendor in the Black Hole on Corellia IIRC.

Each piece is like 200 comms tho.
They say when you go on a quest for vengence to dig two graves. They underestimate me.

Just an update, I'm now 19 and my gun has not increased at all. So I'm curious what the intervals are for it increasing. It may be story quest related, or related to what your Oranges are at the time.

So I don't know if I imagined this or what, but it appears the gun doesn't level. The alcohol must have had me hallucinating.

Well shit. Sorry for getting hopes up.

Yeah, blue milk at the cantina will do that to you.
