Am I getting this straight. Bioware does not want you to post the URL in public chat? So couldn't you just say 'send us a whisper for the a link to the show' instead?

I think the issue might be that someone felt that Jimer was perhaps spamming the chat with links to the show. Increase the intervals with which you advertise?

Well, they said posting links to any third-party site or advertising or promoting them was verboten. Also, if posting a link every 5-10 minutes is too much, why was general absolutely flooded last night with a guild doing a "dance party" to advertise their guild and no one got in any trouble?

Decreasing the frequency wouldn't matter, someone would still complain at some point just because they were an authoritarian dickbag. We need clear guidance about it from BioWare.

125 people can sit there on the Fleet and either ignore the (for lack of a better word) adverts for the show, or tune in, enjoy it, or not feel about it one way or the other.

1 person that doesn't know there is a ****ing ignore function if they don't like it complains and all hell breaks loose.

I'm new here so my opinion might not hold much weight.

I've never tuned into the show, in fact this thread was the first i've heard about it. However, it sounds like a great idea and I wish i'd heard about it sooner. Sounds like a great community thing that could really bring the whole server closer together and it just sounds fun to be honest.

Don't let some scumbags who weren't held enough as children ruin this neat thing you go going on. I say post a few times about it, throw the link up on the forums and see what happens from there.

Listenership was definitely down a bit. Not any more than usual for a standard music set with no in-game presence, though.
