Random Work quips...

As the title suggests....

This is a short one I had at work just this morning:

Me: (with a nonchalant pointing gesture) You know.....Today does not feel like a Wednesday
Co-worker: What does it feel like then?
Me: More like a Friday.... which is weird
Co-worker: I wish I was wearing pants.......

- Thats where the convo ended.

I posted this on FB earlier as well, context was of course an app was not working this morning and has been failing regularly for several weeks...

Coworker: Does this place test anything!?
Me: Yes, our patience, constantly.

Conversation then went on to the normal grumbling about developers who don't interact with the customers pushing out updates the customers don't like that also don't work...

Me: uh. Nothing LT?
Rescue LT: So...I guess the three of us are just HANGING out, then.

Maybe I'm missing something, but what is a hanging? My only context for that would be an execution.

Suicide by hanging. It's a pretty uncomfortable thing to see, TBH. The quip, while distasteful, inappropriate, and unprofessional, was appreciated by a rookie that was a bit unnerved (me).
