The Taris Event Chapter 3
Hi guys. I want to explain everything that happened this morning. I thought I could fancy talk Ro'Talth into staying and helping us, and he asked me point blank if he could leave the ship. I played a gambit and said that I wouldn't stop him, but couldn't speak for the others or the droids. Obviously, he was able to pretty much just drive away. From what I gathered though, he was mad enough about whatever happened this morning that he wasn't going to help us anymore. And I WOULD love to know what happened here this morning.
As for locking down the ship, that came after a conversation I had with Bulwark. He expressed some serious reservations about Fandango being left alone on the ship, and that it would have been possible (if difficult) for him to droid-nap Fandango. Maybe I panicked, but I'm not about to give up the droid that saved our asses to someone who probably wants us dead now. I used the Alvian password to keep Ro'Talth out of the ship, and as a potential test to see if people who say they aren't Alvian actually are, or vice versa. Hence the reason I simply shared the password with Eli.
Now - there's another matter. Bulwark also expressed some concerns with you, Syric. I'll let him take them up with you - but we're not leaving this ship until they're behind us.
Also - Fandango was confused as to our chain of command. I believe we have none - we are, for the most part, willing partners. We do need to make certain that our mutual safety is protected, and that no one can take the ship alone.

Re: The Taris Event Chapter 3
"For my part I want to say that lately I have not had to work in a group setting so I go where I want, when I want and do what I want. The last time I was in any kind of group was as part of the Sith Military command structure. So when I hear two orders from different people on how to restrict access to the ship I see a conflict. I was tempted to just lock everyone out until everyone except Dood Amm'nel and Klak Reen had returned, but decided that option would be viewed as threatening and antagonistic. I guess the problem with being masterless is having to cope with complicated value judgments all the time. I don't see how your frail organic bodies do it without complex processors." Fandango says inspecting his new weapons.

Re: The Taris Event Chapter 3
"Well I can understand your concern now, it never occurred to me that Ro'Talth might try to droid-nap Fandango, but as he is now fully armed I think he is safe. As to Bulwark..
Syric shakes his head, I gave you all the short version on the coms earlier but I might as well retell it now. After we left Ro'Talths contact, which I definitely need to breif you all on, he wanted to get the weapons the droid had asked for. Bulwark was violently opposed to Ro'Talth equipping Fandango with weapons and keeps calling him a Sith Assassin. When Ro'Talth turned to walk away Bulwark grabbed him by the lekku, which if you're familiar with Twi'leks, can be excrutiatingly painful. After some more words, Ro' basically told Bulwark he would have to shoot him to stop him before turning his back on Bulwark and starting to walk away.'
Syric pauses to take a drink and finish off one of his flasks, "Bulwark then shot Ro'talth in the back as he walked away, so I grabbed him to try and stop him. He broke away so I drew my pistol to try and keep him from shooting any more when he started equating Fandango to Quax. I'm seriously concerned with his mental processes. Anyways, of course Ro'Talth returned fire, who wouldn't, but he told Bulwark to drop his weapon. Bulwark shoots Ro'Talth again, I think he was trying to stun him, I honestly didn't know what to do but I warned him to stop or I would shoot him. I waited, and that was probably a mistake, and Ro'talth shot him again and landed a big hit, one more shot would have killed Bulwark, and I could hear the sirens in the distance. I took it upon myself to end it and stunned Bulwark. I figured if I didn't drop him myself Ro'Talth would kill him, or if he did stun Ro'Talth there was no way of getting ANY useful information out of him. Well, it seemed to work because Bulwark left after threatening Ro's life again and verbally abusing me."
Syric pulls out flask II, but doesn't open it, "and when Ro' got away I thought I could give Bulwark a chance to clean up his mess and asked him to keep his eyes out for him, but he never responded, I don't know if he heard me or not." he finally opens the flask and takes a sip.
He looks at Cuspar, "Then when you told me to not shoot him I realized that would be the first thing Bulward would do if he found him so I tried to remediate that with a message from the cab, the one I copied you on, and after that we lost Ro. I can understand he has some concerns, I mean I did stun him, but I'll say it again, if I hadn't Ro' would have killed him before I could stop Ro'."

Fandango, how do you see yourself fitting in with us? Are you here for the long haul until we find Jounville or do your plans have you going your own way soon? If your goal is the same as ours I can see you as an equal in our group, just know our path to Jounville has hardley been a straight-forward one and will likely remain that way.Blackferne wrote:"For my part I want to say that lately I have not had to work in a group setting so I go where I want, when I want and do what I want. "As for my intentions. I wander with the guiding principle of righting wrongs and stamping out injustice with a vengeance. Facts seem to indicate that Jounville Blackferne's kidnapping is an injustice. When that fact is coupled with the Sith war droids information it seems this is a mission I cannot walk away from lightly. I cannot promise that I will see it all the way to it's conclusion, but as of now I see no other option of greater importance. All I ask is that should we encounter any more war droids I get the honor of carving out their processors." Fandango says.

"The processors I carve them out to inspire fear among the droid corps. It is a trademark. As for what I do with them, usually I dispose of them in fusion reactors if I can, barring that I'll shoot them into stars." Fandango says.

I assume we're all talking in either the lounge area or the cargo area, currently present AFAIK are:
Fandango
Eli
Cuspar
Syric
Bulwark
So Leet is on planet, but still out either hacking a dataterminal or shopping for items for himself
Klak and Dood are in hyperspace on the way to Bothawuaii
Jax is in hyperspace on his way to Tat
That is everyone's whereabouts at the time this is occuring.
And right now Eli is standing silently, arms crossed just listening and letting Cuspar do his voodoo. I have put my combat gloves on in case things go south, and which case someone is getting knocked the fuck out. Maybe 2 someones.

Meanwhile in Hyperspace:
Jax wakes up from his nap to Slick chirping like crazy.
"HEEEEEEEEEEY WAKE UPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!"
Jax startles and inquires why the droid is so animated.
"Well I thought you might be curious to know that I have done it again. Well you weren't here for that, but needless to say I am truly a master of the universe. You will be arriving on Tattooine in 15 minutes."

"Excuse me one moment"
Eli will take a couple steps away but stay within eyesight off all in case he needs to intervene
"Jax, I'm impressed I didn't expect you for a few days! Yes we are still in Mos Eisley, currently we are docked at bay F41L. We are taking care of a couple internal matters right now, and I assume you are probably a little tired and hungry from your trip. There is a cantina near the spaceport called the Dusty Bantha that we tend to frequent when we are on Tat, why don't you head down there and we'll meet you there for lunch once we get our business tied up. The food is ok, but the others say the drinks are really good. I expect it won't take too long and we'll meet you there shortly."
Eli will return to his previous spot and at an appropriate time he'll interrupt
"Ok guys, that was our replacement Jedi, Jax. He's somehow managed to get to Tattooine already and he'll be landing shortly. I told him we'd meet him at the Bantha for lunch to buy us some time to work through these issues we have, but the clock is now ticking."

Bulwark retells the theory he told Cuspar in the bar, emphasizing that he warned Ro not to do it in the same way that Syric warned him. And that Bulwark's gun was set to Stun, and there was never an intent to kill Ro', only prevent him from doing something that put all our lives at risk with out us agreeing to it.
And he comcludes with, "But if Ro is still alive, we have some serious problems. I want to go check out that speeder to see if I can spot something the local cops didn't. Eli, will you come with me? Cuspar, why don't you and Syric follow up on that lead Ro gave us this morning. I think the sooner we get off Tatooine, the better, especially if Ro is still alive. But by no means leave Syric alone witth that droid.

Bulwark, I understand where you are going, but I think you are wrong. Syric is alot of things, but a sabotuer is not one of them. I've known him just as long as you have and he has been quite consistant that whole time in being drunk and perhaps due to the alcohol making poor choices in the heat of the moment. Like you I have the burn marks to prove it. The second things don't go exactly as planned Syric's response is to pull weapons and start threatening or shooting people. If it's anything it's a character flaw, and one that WILL be worked on."
Eli gives Syric a long, hard look during that last sentance
"Now, as for the general issue of arming Fandango, as you can see that has already been done. Cuspar, myself, Syric and So all agree that it's the right thing to do. I understand your logic in being hesitant to trust him, however he has been nothing but straightforward and honest with us to this point and he did save all of our lives in Bryx. And if the Sith were willing to go so far as to put a battlecruiser over Bryx in the quest to find Jounville then I find it difficult to believe that they would use brute force like that while trying to be subtle with us. It's just not logical. If we really wanted to play the name the Sith agent game I could actually make a compelling case for you being a Sith agent, but I do not believe you are.
What happened today is a setback, however if Ro is really dead, which I sincerely doubt, it may not be that bad of one. Hopefully the contact we made today will still pan out because if Ro is really dead, or even just faking his death then he probably won't have called that guy to tell him NOT to get the data for us. And if he does then I'm sure we can come up with something else, adn we also know he's alive and that means his ass. But no matter what we need to get our poodoo straight and get it straight RIGHT FUCKING NOW. I'm not asking us to all get along perfectly, or us to walk out of here holding hands and talking about how great we think each other is, but we need to work together, respect each other and be a cohesive team or we'll never find Jounville, and I didn't sign on to let either Jounville or Arillius down. Does anyone here have a problem with that?"

fine, but we need to get moving. Tracks in the sand on Tat don't last long. If we are going to find any evidence on that speeder we need to do it before the weather, and the jawas, remove any trace of it. We should also get So Leet back with us as soon as possible. He doesn't need to be alone if Ro is gunning for us.
