Oh, and probably my favorite 2 moments in SW:G history-
Invading another server with identical rodians named Alpha, Beta, etc. We logged on in the main city on Corellia, took a long walk through the city chanting "Pie Iesu Domine... Dona Eus Requiem" and /slapping ourselves. We even set it up on a script so it would be synchronized. We walked through the city in a line, went to a shuttle and logged off, and never logged those characters on again. Good times.
The other one was sort of a meta moment, but when I offhandedly wrote the bit from "The Book of GarVa" for my finest forum troll to date.

A man may fight for many things. His country, his friends, his principles, the glistening tear on the cheek of a golden child. But personally, I'd mud-wrestle my own mother for a ton of cash, an amusing clock and a sack of French porn. - Edmund Blackadder

Holy shit, I remember that. I also remember our Bum invasion of some other server.Jimer Lins wrote:Oh, and probably my favorite 2 moments in SW:G history-

Think we'll be able to get away with server invasions in TOR?

That makes me wish I still had the Alvian Creed that I wrote stored somewhere...Jimer Lins wrote:The other one was sort of a meta moment, but when I offhandedly wrote the bit from "The Book of GarVa" for my finest forum troll to date.
They say when you go on a quest for vengence to dig two graves. They underestimate me.

I miss that trek. Especially when you died and had to do a corpse run (back in the early days of corpse runs)Jimer Lins wrote:I miss...

Was that STC? I remember all the hubbub when -V- mined those "neutral" stores. I had an ingame t-shirt that said "Free STC!"Veela wrote: I miss putting landmines in front of those shops in that city outside Theed.
I've realized that most of my favorite things about SWG were player-created things. The cities, shops and items. Events. Raids.

That's because SOE created so little content in SWG it was almost always up to us to create it. And create it we did, and it was epic.Xamot wrote:I miss that trek. Especially when you died and had to do a corpse run (back in the early days of corpse runs)Jimer Lins wrote:I miss...

Re: NGE: Never FORGET!
One time we went we went to Veers and we knew that place well enough to avoid all their clever minefields etc etc and hang out of their cantina. Somebody's initiation and I can't remember who. Anyways we wrapped up and Dood and I were walking home through the minefield and some Veers lackey came up to us and started peppering us with questions. So we started doing the dink dink thing from spaceballs. Somehow this transformed to us arguing against each other as smurfs. I emote /pistolsmurfs Dood. Dood did not respond for a while. Apparently he laughed so hard he literally fell out of his chair, onto the floor and took his keyboard with him unplugging it.
That was a great day. From 1400 miles a way I got the family dog off the furniture and onto the floor where it belonged.
