I recently got Gran Turismo Sport. I know it is a year old, but I'm having fun. If anyone has it and wants to race look me up. (Blackferne is my PS4 tag).
Also Everybody's Golf is a good arcadey golf game. I play with some friends if anyone is looking for something.
I'm also open to suggestions for fun low commitment co-op or online competitive games.

Re: PS4 games I've been playing
Been doing more gaming on my PC of late and not that I think it exactly counts but I do have RDR2 so if there was a group forming with that I'd be up for joining from time to time.
Re: PS4 games I've been playing
I'm mostly playing D2 and Warframe these days, neither of which I would classify as low investment.
I also started effing around in WoW again a little while back, but I'm not really that active there these days because I got bored without friends to play with.

I am still mostly on my PS4 playing the usual co op stuff with Jeezbus. I also upgraded my xbone to the xbox one x, and I bought a Switch.

The starting area has this huge rock statue of Zeus on top of a mountain. Climb to the top and you can improve this thing that helps you scout out places. Anyway I'm scaling down and wasn't paying attention to where I was and ended up dangling from Zeus's balls. The voice over said " I should probably not climb on this."

I love the Assassins Creed series, but I didn't like the changes they made with Origins last year. I didn't finish that one. Black Flag is my favorite in the series. Unity had the cool 4 player co op mode, then they took multiplayer out of the games. If you like the open world style, check out Spider-Man. Just put it on easy, since the difficulty is all over the place on that game.

Re: PS4 games I've been playing
I've heard Spiderman is amazing. I might pick it up down the road. But until then I have a lot of ancient greeks to sneak up on, stab, then dump their lifeless body in the water so I don't give away my presence. (I got decent at that last night). Seriously the port was full of dead greek soldiers like some kind of athenian stew.

If you like being sneaky, then add The Last of Us remastered and Metal Gear Solid V to your list.

I've dump so many Greeks into the Port of Nissa that you could walk from one side of the harbor to the other without getting your sandals wet.
Also Sparta kicking people off cliffs is a lot of fun.

New addition: Mutant League Football.
It is like a very campy NFL Blitz style game with onfield traps, chainsaws, monsters, robots, mutants, aliens, player killing, and the rosters are very Tree House of Horror. JJ Rott, Drak Bloodclot, Hussle Killsome etc.

Re: PS4 games I've been playing
Anyone looking at or thinking about getting Anthem? Or just me? I played the demo and other than the server issues that kept causing crashes I had a lot of fun with it. I'm not sure I'm going to pick it up right at launch because I'm going on vacation a few days after it comes out, but when I get back it'll likely be in rotation for me.

Re: PS4 games I've been playing
I meant to play the demo but rimworld kinda kept my attention until they closed the demo. That said I won't get it day 1 but it is on my list to get so probably around the time you get it Furiel. Bigger question I've got is if I upgrade to a pro now.
Re: PS4 games I've been playing
I don't have a pro, I didn't have issues with the demo. Then again I also did recently upgrade my PS4 to have a 1TB SSD so that may have impacted things. It'd be great to play with you again. Maarkin is going to be playing and we've got a bunch of newer Destiny buds we can introduce you too as well so you won't have to play alone if you don't want to.

Re: PS4 games I've been playing
I preordered Anthem, but hated the beta. Played the second weekend with Jeezbus, he didn't like it either. I don't plan on installing or playing it now. I would rather play the Division 2.
Re: PS4 games I've been playing
Curious what you didn't like about it. The server issues were frustrating, but when I was actually able to play I enjoyed it. But that's me and we all have different tastes so...

Re: PS4 games I've been playing
I to am interested to hear cause even though I haven't gotten to play either but Anthem looks more interesting to me than Division 2 right now.
Re: PS4 games I've been playing
The single player part in the hub was bad. The movement was weird, like a stutter step or something, and was slow. The bugs in the mision were pretty awful, my first mission ended when all the enemies just dissapeared at once. I also had the sound bug, when all the sound from the game and menus quit. (A known bug for PC and PS4 Pro). The difficulty seemed all over the place (we played on normal) ranging from super easy to extreme during a single fight. Also, the other players all seemed to have never played a game with puzzles before, the color coded panels took us forever to open because the other two idiots kept shooting the panels. I had to leave party chat to tell them to stop, but you have to go to the menus and turn on VOIP before that even works. The first beta weekend, the game wasn't even playable at the start time because they screwed up, and had to patch it.
I don't really trust Bioware anymore, I only pre-ordered because I thought Tony did. I also didn't care for the Storm when I switched from the Ranger.

Dumb fun game?
Gauntlet Slayer Edition. Great for your non-mmo type friends to do a dungeon crawl.

Re: PS4 games I've been playing
So - I haven't been on the forums in years, hope everyone is holding up well enough. In the past few years, I've left the corporate world, traveled to India, became a meditation teacher, pursued a career in music and recorded an EP, and did a bunch of other crazy stuff. Long story...won't bore you with the details.
I still miss gaming with people, though.
My latest vice since the pandemic took off is No Man's Sky. The game was considered to be a bust when it launched, but with all the features added since then, it's become pretty awesome as a standalone exploration/crafting game. Not very combat-heavy, and yes - it still can get repetitive after playing for 100+ hours. But I'm still enjoying it, and all the DLCs up to date have been substantial, and all free.
Today's they launched cross-platforming, so PC people can play online with Xbox/PS4, etc. So if anyone has this sitting latent in their steam/ps4/xbox accounts and wants to connect, feel free to drop me a line. I hear the cross-platforming isn't quite stable yet (they'll proally patch it soon).
I have an Activated Indium Farm and can make you a multimillionaire pretty quick. A few bases, all exotic ships (except my Living Ship), and am currently farming for an S-class Freighter and fleet. But I need someone to help me locate planet Alvis in the Alvian sector, and help me build a base worthy of shooting people in the face for.
Peace out!

Re: PS4 games I've been playing
Jeezbus, Gartorn and I had a planet on the PS4 version and built giant bases side by side. Not sure if they still exist, that was after the first major wipe they did when they added base building and co op. My PS4 copy is still in a box from when I moved last year, and I didn't label any of the boxes. I do have a copy downloaded on my Xbox one X, since it is free with gamepass.
I finally get my first vacation in 18 months, using that for The Last of Us 2 the week after next.
