Re: test
So should I group them into republic and sith sub forums (to keep the forum list short) or just list all 8?

I'm torn - part of my likes keeping things compact, but there's also something to be said for not having to drill down another level...
They say when you go on a quest for vengence to dig two graves. They underestimate me.

Re: test
They've announced the first two Specializations for Sith Warrior... the Marauder and the Juggernaut.
Perhaps having a structure like this:

Re: test
Given each class presumably will only have 2 specializations I don't think it would be too much to keep them all grouped into the same subforum. I assume they will allow respec at some point (or go in the face of mmorpg convention). So even though I might be playing the Boomboom Trooper, having threads in the Trooper forum for those Pewpew Troopers shouldn't be too distracting.

Re: test
Maybe instead of just having a class forums, then republic/sith/then classes we could do 2 parent forums, one for the republic classes and one for the sith?
So under General right now it would be
General SWTOR disc
Rebublic Class forums
-Trooper
-Jedi
-Counselor
-Smuggler
Sith Class forums
-Sith warrior
-Inquisitor
-Agent
-BH

Re: test
I'm also not a huge fan of forum trees either. Reading the new specialization descriptions doesn't give a whole lot of information to make a determination one way or the other. Having a Sticky topic for each specialization for now, and if the differences do end up warranting a split, sub-forums would be possible later by moving the topics to the proper place.
Maybe changing the forum icons to Republic and Sith logos for the classes would be a solution to separate forums.

Re: test
How about the current configuration? That work? Each is clearly grouped, but you get all 8 at once as well.

Re: test
That works for me. Personally I just like to minimize scrolling, and all 8 fit on 1 page without the necessity to scroll.
