The Church of Alvis

Hey folks,

I've just updated the server to the most recent snapshot, but it looks like no one's been on it in a while. My kid is regenerating an interest in Minecraft, and with all the new updates, I was considering starting up a new server.

But there's so much stuff on the current one, which we may not want to lose. It's possible to go far enough away to get new chunks and so forth to gain access to the new materials and mobs.

So I'm curious what the consensus is- are any of you still interested in Minecraft, and if so, what's your opinion on how we move ahead with the server?

I have been getting the itch to play again, I'm pretty sure I had access at one point but lost it without getting around to getting it fixed. Though have joined enough servers over the years so some of that could be miss remembered.

In any case I'm voting other since I don't have any stake in the outcome of the old content and would be fine with whatever.
