I built an iron farm near spawn. It's working now- I pulled some villagers from the southwest village using minecarts and managed to get them to reproduce. The farm is producing, and I'll probably add a few bells and whistles later.

Once we have enough Iron we can make as many as we want and set them loose in town.

A note about the iron farm: I built it in the spawn chunks, which means it'll work even when you're not around because the spawn chunks stay loaded as long as there's at least one player online. However, if there's nobody on, the spawn chunks unload. It should produce between 30 and 60 iron per hour, as I used a basic design that doesn't rely on glitches or bugs.
