Jimer's Tower Park

Post by Jimer Lins » Tue Sep 23, 2014 6:05 pm

Some of you may have seen that I fenced off an area at the east of town leading up to the promontory where I'm building my tower. I did that to lay out the boundaries of what I plan to make a sort of "park", using the trees already there and building paths and such. I just wanted to make sure people didn't cut trees in that area. :)

I've been cutting trees in the SW part between my tower and Bulwarks, but I always replant. I assume that is ok?

Oh, absolutely. And even cutting trees inside the park's not a big deal. I just wanted to kind of wall it off for my plans before it was denuded. The rest is fair game. Also, to the north is a massive birch forest, all the wood you can gather.

Where are the acacia trees? I found them the first day when I was wandering lost and I haven't found them. I'm sure they're pretty close.

I have birch trees in front of my tower, which is coming down soon. (Having trouble deciding on a house), Everyone is welcome to cut them, but please replant

I went for a walkabout yesterday - 4 game days west and back..
I came across 3 white wolf/dog packs. 2 close together around -385 -547. I believe we can ride wolfs.

Just beyond that area a huge bio dome of pine/acada as well as 4x4 oaks and pines trees. There is a very cool ground cover blocks there for the park. leaves on the ground, but I think a silk touch tool is require to get them up. In some areas the grass was small pine trees.

I am liking 1.8 a lot. I was tempted to take screen shots and post.

Sorry, got nothin.
