Finishing my house. Adding a library, blacksmith, alchemist and shop.
Working my mine.
Planting a dandelion field between our houses.
Making pigs fly.
And thinking about building a binary counter and clock.

I'm halfway tempted to make a basement under my house and setup a large scale sorter now that I finished the small one for my farm.

Anyone have any collaborative ideas besides Cloud City? I've been thinking about doing a Hoover dam ever since Bul mentioned it, but I haven't found a good spot and since it would likely need some underwater building I haven't been too motivated.

Maybe I'll just go put a glass dome over one of the villages...

So, um, confession: I've never played Minecraft. But I have seen my nephew play it.

Um, how many billions of years did it take to build all of that shit? Cause based on watching my nephew, my calculator can't count that high.

Also, a day in there is only 20 minutes out here.

so 2 billion

Bulwark had a lot of stuff imported, but I don't think it was an unreasonable amount of time for other projects. I build the Acropolis in an afternoon.

Yeah, I had the Eiffel Tower, ice castle and roller coaster imported from my other server. The rest of the stuff was built over the last few weeks.

But ONLY the Acropolis was done in a day, not all of Rome...

How about this for a group project, the colosseum? We don't exactly have lions to fill it with, but we could use cows.

Dude, it's awesome. I'm going to take a ton of screenshots of it and submit it to places like Kotaku when it's done. It's that gorgeous.

Finished the guest wing today for the most part. Now it's time to terraform, landscaping and decorating. For the info of those near me, the terraforming will go even further than the bridge bull has built on one side, and I will be drastically altering the water flow and coastline on the other.

Edit: also, I need probably 200 saplings of a mix of all the species. If anyone has stacks they aren't using, I would heart them.

Edit 2: you can do absolutely ludicrous landscape lighting using beacons. Can anyone versed in them comment on how feasible getting the components to craft 50-60 of them would be? Glass is obviously no issue, but obsidian is a hassle. Nether stars I know nothing about, other than that they're dropped by Wither...

Edit 3: holy shit. Researched the Wither. I see why the guys using beacons for landscape lighting are in creative mode!!!

The Nether Star is extremely rare and is considered one of the rarest items in the game due to the length of time it takes to acquire the skulls needed to create the wither that drops the Nether Star. The boss fight itself is not that difficult, due to the many different methods that make the fight much easier.
I'd make other plans.

Cusp, I have a single beacon in my tower. I want four of them total, which means beating the Wither four times.

However, beating the Wither isn't the hard part. I have a Wither Slaughterhouse. It's super-easy to kill it with a piston and some know-how. Problem is getting Wither Skulls. You need 3 per Wither and they only come from Wither Skeletons in the nether, with a drop rate of about 1-2%. So... it takes a lot of grinding.

But it's doable. It'll take a long time. :)

I am working on my sky island tower and I look over and see what seems to be a Jawa Sandcrawler mid construction. Are my eyes deceiving me?

The Chrysler Building has its first tenant. There is a museum on the 25th floor.

The museum is accepting donations of rare items to add to it's exhibit space. A Dragon Egg and a Whither Skeletons Head are outstanding.
