[ooc]Okay rereading the relevant materials it seems like Rek's plan is 5 steps.

1. Blu sneaks into a food truck and destroys/eats as much food as possible to require replacements to be sent.
2. Rides in said truck during delivery into the complex to set off fire alarms
3. The remainder of the party steals a food truck to "deliver replacement" food
4. Blu sneaks over to warehouse 17
5. We take the crates from the warehouse to the space port.

So here are your problems that you haven't told me how you are going to overcome yet...

What you arrive at the facility and start observing you notice that they have a large loading dock with a number of trucks backed into position currently. They all look roughly identical and as they are backed flush against the facility so you cannot see whether they are loading or unloading. You count 8 trucks currently in position, however the loading area has enough berths to accomodate 15 vehicles.

Which brings us back to my previous statement of:

Potentially yes, but until now all that had been said we "We get Blu into the back of the truck" like just by saying it it would auto-magically happen and I don't roll that way.

Give me specifics on how you intend to accomplish step 1 and then we can proceed

Also a better tack might be find the manager of the food delivery company and bribe him/her to let us borrow a truck/get listed on the manifest as supplemental delivery]

Assuming Rek followed Blu to the food delivery company...

Rek inspects the loading dock to the best of his ability. He's looking to see if there is strict security, get a feel for the workers and identify if there would be any problem if he walked up to any of the trucks.

Getting a feel for the workers would require you to either go inside or observe for a time because the loading dock is fully enclosed so you can't see inside the building from there. Are you going to invest time into observing the main entrance to get a look at some of the people coming and going from the building, and if so, how long?

Security is minimal. There is essentially a 3 meter high chain link fence enclosing the loading dock area with an automated gate. The only external cameras in evidence are a couple that are set right at the dock area to cover the bays, most likely for either visual confirmation that there is a truck at the door, or to assist in backing into place and then one to cover the gate.

I will just spend a few minutes observing, simply to see how casual the atmosphere is, i.e. what kind of people may be going in or out.

Rek picks up his comlink "I think we may need some assistance here from someone a bit more confident in their ability to smooth talk."

M3PO motions for Bronto to follow him and walks to the front door of the kitchen facility. Assuming it has an open access lobby he walks in with Bronto in tow looking for a front desk. If there is no open lobby he presses a signal com to get attention.

Bronto follows M3P0, still somewhat hazy, but certainly three pounds lighter.

[OOC: this sounds like the beginnnig of a bad joke. So a droid and an aqualish walk into a catering company...]

As M3 and Bronto approach The Drunken Nuna Catering Company building the smell of delicious food grows stronger in the air and Bronto's stomach lets out a loud growl.

As you enter a smallish lobby you find that both sides of the room are covered by large display cases full of food. Dishes from all different parts of the galaxy are on display each one looking better than the next. Along the back wall in the right corner is a door that appears to be secured with a card scanner. In the center of the back wall is a reception desk. Seated at the desk is an attractive human female who doesn't appear to have noticed you enter yet as she seems to be entirely engrossed in what she is doing on her datapad.

With Bronto in tow we approach the reception desk.

"Hello ma'am. My master wishes to speak to the shift manager. Unfortunately we do not have an appointment, but I assure you this is rather worth his time."

Her head jerks up in surprise and her checks flush some as she hastily sets the datapad aside. You catch a glimpse of the screen before she darkens it and it looks like she was playing a word game with a friend on it.

Oh! Hi, welcome to Drunken Nuna Catering, my name is Cheryl. <brief pause> The shift manager you said? I'm sorry but he's not in the building at the moment he's away on some personal business. I can take a message though, who should I say was visiting?

M3 - you would say she's slightly flustered and embarassed that you walked in on her unaware while she was slacking off, she glanced briedly at Bronto and she might have had a slight twist of the mouth when she looked at him, but she has addressed you directly the whole time. Also you detect some slight brusing on her neck that is mostly hid by a scarf.

M3PO responds "Will he be back soon? We would be willing to wait if it isn't too long."

[Furiel]

"I'm afraid I'm not sure he did not specify how long he would be gone. I'd be happy to take a message though!"

[Blackferne]

M3PO puts his hand into his satchel and pulls out 50cr and slides it onto the desk.

"My master really wants to speak to the shift supervisor sooner rather than later. I don't know if you have a way to reach him, or perhaps know where we could find him. And if for some reason he doesn't need to know how we found him, I assure you my master and I can be discreet." M3PO says leaning slightly in and speaking in a softer voice than before.

Bronto follows M3's lead and grunts his approval and smiles (in a manner of speaking) at Cheryl.
