Live session wed April 27th my plan

Okay I'd like to do a live session next wednesday. My plan is that regardless if Dood responds or not, you guys will land meet nolan, hammer out any personality conflicts, kill/reroll characters before wednesday night, and hopefully accept Tsont'Ar's job because it is in essence the classic RPG experience.....The Dungeon Crawl....errr...Space Lab/Station/Bunker Crawl in Space. I found some rather nice prefab, rotate and place sci fi map squares I can import directly into openrpg. in MS paint I made this map.

(I don't care if you see the whole thing since I'm assuming So Leet's first order of business will be to find a terminal and download a map anyway)

Tsont'Ar will be sending you on a purpose to get something from there. There will be people/things/creatures that will try to stop you that you will fight and presumably kill. They will have items which may interest you. For example maybe one of them will have combat gloves that add 1 die of damage. Or maybe there is a blaster carbine which adds +2 to attack rolls. I don't know what kind of money/loot you will find. You'll just have to go there and find out.

So that is what I'm wanting to do.

No persuasion roll, just give Tsont'Ar his 50k back and say no, and convince everyone else that it is a bad idea.

But the case Tsont'Ar will be making is that if Sargo is holding Jounville, that you should realize that Sargo runs with a very tight and disciplined organization. This would be a great opportunity to test out your groups actual ability to work in a break in get your thing break out kind of military op.

I was a real dick one time running a game once, I put them on a space station dungeon crawl and they were the kind of group that would argue with me all the time about whether or not they had piece of gear X or Y, so I told them very explicitly to write down everything they took in with them because once they entered the station there was no going back for gear or fudging saying "well of course I have my E-Webb with me, why wouldn't I have brought it". If it wasn't on the list, they didn't bring it. So they made their lists and headed in. And boy was the trooper mad when he tried to fire shot # 101 and his rifle didn't fire because his blaster power pack was empty and he hadn't brought any spare guns or power packs.

Who designed that station, a Canadian? There is no way to get from the top right section to the bottom without going through every other part of the structure. It's like what would happen if the WoW designers built the pentagon: (Im sorry general, that report printed on the printer in the next office over. I would go get it, but Id have to go through 127 miles of corrodores to get there, then fight a 3 headed dog, then fight another 127 miles to get back. Can't you just reprint it?"

If you look at the map it is basically some reused sections each with only 1 possible exit north, east, west or south. The map has 9 tiles and so I'm going to preroll initiative for all the baddies in the place. When you guys enter a new section that will be your initiative for that whole tile. All bad guys in the tile will know you are there and react accordingly. So in essence this is going to be up to 9 mini battles. I'm hoping this approach will speed it up some and allow us to make the best use of time.
