I've read up on Hyperspace and travel times and here is how it works.

When you want to go into hyperspace there is a use computer roll for the navigator. (So Leet would be the natural choice imo). He rolls Use computer. He gets a bonus if your ship has a navicomputer (+5), there are some other penalties like if you are doing it quickly and not double checking (combat situations) and the roll is against the age of the astronavigation data. (Pg 13 of the Starships of the Galaxy Rulebook).

The travel time is 1D6 (I'll roll that)x your hyperdrive multiplier. The cargo ship 578-R has a multiplier of 3. The Millenium Falcon by contrast has a multiplier of 2. Luke's X-Wing has a multiplier of 1 and fighters of our era have a multiplier of 2.

So what this means. What I said before about less developed to more developed, doesn't matter.

I thoguht the Falcon's hyperdrive multiplier was .5.

"She'll make .5 past lightspeed."

Plus that's what it was in the older sourcebooks. I know the stock YT is a 2X.

What time units is that 1D6? Hours, days, beers?

Thats what I recall as well. The base YT-1300 is x2. the Falcon is x0.5

Fine the Falcon is probably .5. It won't matter though because that ship hasn't even been built yet.
