Also whiteys numbers are wrong. He's adding incorrect modifiers. Anything that adds to your attack roll like point blank shot and your base attack ONLY apply to your to hit roll. They do NOT APPLY TO DAMAGE. Your damage is the weapon damage plus half your level plus any feats that say specifically the add to damage.

I was wrong on point blank shot, it does add to both, so whitey was right about that, but you get no bonus damage for you base attack bonus, just half your level.

I think this slight adaptation from Empire may effectively sum up Eli's current thoughts..

Only problem is if I get hit twice I"m dead, cuz at first I'll be in you can't hit me mode, so they only hit on crits. But if they hit me I'm pretty well screwed.

I'm modifying a lot of things for these guys. And shoot that one first? Well it is clearly the "boss" for tehse droids so he will be tougher. The downside is every non boss droid you don't try to kill will still be shooting. Current score: Droids have 3 kills, Organics have 0 kills.

Tactically it's six of one half dozen of the other. Had both of you shot the same regular droid we'd have one less on us now for sure. So had it been one that hadn't acted yet that would be one less attack made against us. However boss droid is boss so the sooner he's dead the significantly less lethal the encounter will be. Whatever we do we need to maintain systematic focused fire so we can eliminate targets quickly and thereby limit the number office attacks coming our way.

Considering that Wailer just did enough damage to 1 shot a wampa on that droid, and it is still standing, I think the GM is trying to tell us that fighting is useless.

Obviously they are just a bit tougher than expected.

So on the asswhipping wailer just received...all those shots were shooting into melee...so apparently the drouds have precise shot, you forgot to apply the shooting into melee penalty or none of those hits hit the droid instead. I'm curious which...
