You can't remember how you ended up in this cantina after the last round. They are not stingy with the booze in this dive. It definitely is a place where 'drown your sorrows' applies. People aren't drinking here to forget, they are drinking here to cease existing. The Twi'lek next to you has been a chatty enough chap. Telling you about some of the job postings on the spaceport work terminal. Says he might hop on with a freighter soon and get out of this hell hole.

Looking in your pocket you see that the credits are running pretty low and you probably should get something lined up before you end up in debt, on the run, or dead.

You get a caf from the barkeep Bran. It is bitter and knocks some sobriety into. You pay him and walk out of the bar to the Tar Shalk spaceport. A former industrial hub, during the expansion into the Outer Rim, the city and planet have seen better days. The indutrial manufacturing jobs dried up a generation ago and the Spaceport is just a glorified refueling station for freighters going to and from the galactic core. You see a couple of Imperial storm troopers patrolling, but the Empire's footprint is relatively light all things considered.

The work terminal starts listing jobs and you start looking for something. The following listing catches your eye.
Ship Captain looking for crew. Seeking individuals qualified in the following areas: port negotiation, security, utility, navigation, repair. SPEAKING BASIC REQUIRED. Freighter work to the Outer Rim with the potential to become a permanent crew member. Pay is a percentage of contract with possibility of bonuses. Seek Captain Trimol at the Scazar Lounge.
You see the listing expires in a few days and surmise you best get going if you want to take a shot at it.

[Non-rp stuff. Seeing Solo trailers has me itching for a return to the Star Wars SAGA rules and gameplay. This is a campaign about being on a ship. There is a HARD limit on five players. Time is pre Rouge one/post RoTS. If you decide to roll a jedi know that the Empire will take an active interest in you should they find out and probably send an ever increasingly dangerous set of challenges to hunt you down. At the start this is not about the rebellion or empire, though they are players, but we can see how it evolves.

If there is interest and signups I'll keep going. Transitioning to live play is intended but initial role play will be forum to get our bearings.

I haven't said anything because I've been busy and trying to work through my character concept, but I am interested and will play if we get enough other people in.

I have an interest but have not played anything Star Wars related so have none of the books and would have some difficult setting up my character, so if you get 5 without me use them instead,I'll follow along and maybe jump in if a spot opens up later.

Just to let you know Saturday afternoon is currently filled with 40K Rouge Traders game though that is towards the end its story line, expect it to end in about a month or two.

We've definitely jumped into fanfic territory, collecting crystals that let us jump in a alternate warp, one such crystal hosed an AI that has some level of control of the Rouge Traders Ship now, and recently meet the girlfriend of the Emperor who was a psyker and in trying to pull her abilities away from her accidentally got her stuck in with the roses of a garden when the crystal shattered.

To which my Voidborn who has been some what relegated to janitor named Dobby is kinda ready for the hallucinogens to wear off.

That is to say I don't think jumping into the Eye of Terror would actually be enough to stop the story at this point.

It is a pretty basic D20 system. There are some things I may fudge because they are exploitable as written. Example Arrican rolled a character in a previous campaign that was a goddamn super genius and he saw a casino as an opportunity to count cards and bankroll a ship at lvl 2. So to prevent things like I may rework a system or two to be less "LOL FREE MONEY" approach.

Well I mean sure you could do that and then have the hut behind the casino classify it as cheating so pay back right now or he will count it as a loan out of the goodness of his heart, so better do some jobs to pay me back quick plus interest or be prepared for the bounty hunters I send your way. With the expectation that you do one job for him as a showing of good faith.

Well so far only Furiel, Dood, and maybe staris have said interested. My biggest concern right now is if I would have the time to do it right.
