Tony will make himself available to mingle if anyone shows interest, otherwise we can move ahead.

No objection here.

The next morning the Professor shows up bright and early with some breakfast pies (think egg hot pocket like things). He assembles the party (Trinal, Tony, Syric, Stavis, and Maizan) around the table downstairs and says "So the Phoenix Guard is in high demand, and you guys got quite the payday last night. We should figure out what you want to do next. What are some of the options you got last night?"

[OOC so like a breakfast quiche.]

Stavis will suggest first that the money be split 50% to be set aside to used paying for the headquarters cost and upkeep. With the rest split amongst the group, that including Mazian and Victea. He will be insistent that the panting and sculpture be kept and placed in the commons area. The hammer be offered to Mazian but otherwise be willing to see that sold, though ensure it will be used and not just a mantle piece.

After that will mention his intentions of visiting Almuth, nephew to the king with at least one or all of the dwarfs that has accompanied them so far to help with introductions to repay their debt and discuss helping get a group funded to build a gate at Silver Deep.

Trinal agrees with the distribution of funds, and also with the painting and sculpture.

He'd like to make a History check on the hammer:

Roll(1d20)+10:
13,+10
Total:23

In response to the Professor, he says "These are delicious. I think I'd like to spend at least a bit of time at the library researching the sigils we discussed- the ones that appeared in Syric's vision. I'm quite curious about that because it suggests some power that has been lost and we may be able to put to use, and also I'm wondering why he's been seeing them."

Licking his fingers and sipping his coffee, he sighs. "Other than that, and a profound gratitude for being able to enjoy the comforts of civilization, however briefly, I have no specific preferences."

"Well I spoke with the Prince last night and they've been failing to get the dragonborn empire to commit to the Mortal Alliance. I thought we could help since we just saved Maizan and the others "

The hammer is magical, and has qualities that one would expect in quality craftsmanship from sometime in the past 100 years. It isn't of particular historical note that you can tell. Hofzthelm is a region of the land that is further north, along the coast. It is a general region which includes Faycrest. You'd assume the hammer was probably crafted there and made it's way south at some point with the influx of refugees from the Army of Blood's conquests.

Stavis will comment but continue eating "I am defiantly interested is what you can learn on that Trinal, as my dreaming it now could signify a helpful hint from the gods to use against our enemies if we are lucky or that the craft isn't as lost as would normally be expecting from its lengthy absence. Which could see it used against us or our allies, to which any counter measures gleaned would be most helpful."

Stavis will than look to Mazian "Not that I would want to just assume you are a part of the dragonborn empire but any info or ideas you can bring to the table to help with gaining the empire as an ally would be appreciated."

"Let's not lock in on the first thing that happens by, Tony Plush may have something new later today as well. Perhaps the church just wants to honor Tony Plush individually for the rescue of the Bishop, or they may have a business proposition for us as well. Tony Plush will know better later today."

"Certainly, I'm not even suggesting we focus on just one thing. I mean not to say we couldn't be responsible for building the gate at Silver Deep but seeing as getting there thru the Citadel makes the most sense and I doubt it will be easy to get permission for my passing through. So will be personally looking to help fund that endeavor rather than us doing it ourselves."

"With that said, if there are things that could be done or people to meet that would help further improve relations or even get the dragonborn empire alliance with the Mortal Alliance. No sense not looking into or pursuing to some degree even if it doesn't become the main focus of the group."

He will ponder it a bit "I had assumed the different generals and such would have made propositions at the party, with us to have a stack of options to discus now but it certainly looked like from my position that didn't seem to be the case. Though might have been an attempt to not distract from the festivities of the gates completion or concerns of overstepping ones rank and file."

"Could mean those offers will start to make their way here to our headquarters, so would probably be a good idea to try and keep someone around to greet and such, especially until we hire someone to look after the place."

After examining the hammer, Trinal says "It's definitely magical and powerful, but I don't know it as any specific artifact of historical importance. If anyone can use such a weapon effectively, I'd say take it and smash things."

"Professor, care to accompany me to the library?"

"Of course Trinal, though I won't be able to stay there for long. I've got some meetings later on today." Professor says plopping out of his chair and heading for the door.

"Well, that sounds like less fun than what I have in mind," Trinal says. "My friends, shall we agree to meet back here this afternoon or early evening to discuss our options? I think we'll have more information by that point."

He gets up and stretches. "And a roof, even. Goodness. The comforts of home will be hard to give up!"

Trinal and the professor walk towards the Arcana Scholar Conservatory. The smells of the morning in the city are a buffet of various activities. Baking bread, soups, as well as the bitter smells of a tanner down the road, and of course plenty of smoke from fires. You walk into the Conservatory and catch Mr. Zecas waiting in the lobby with Mr. Alister Bertram with a small box.

"Ah Trinal my lad, so good to see you didn't over indulge last night. A keen mind like yours should probably budget your consumption of vices in order to preserve the intellect!" Mr. Bertram says greeting you.

"Trinal Let me present you with your medallion of membership. It will allow you access and denote your current rank within the conservatory." Mr. Zecas says handing you the small box. Opening it is a medallion made of a bronze like medal with an interlocked ASC logo. The inscription is in the old writing of the old Empire and translates to Truth through Knowledge. "I have pulled a few tombs which I think might be to your liking, and Alister here was insistent on assisting in whatever capacity he could today."

Taking the medallion in both hands, Trinal bows from the waist and says "Thank you very much for your generosity, mister Bertram. And thank you for allowing me membership in your organization, Mr. Zecas."

After any small talk, etc. Trinal will start reviewing the books suggested. OOC: I'm not sure how Alister could help, but if he can, I'll be polite and let him. Trinal won't really attempt to hide anything from him or anything like that.

Stavis will confirm that Syric or Mazian intend on sticking around in case someone does show up to offer a task. Should they both intend on leaving Stavis will stick around until someone comes back or if they are willing to wait promises that his task should be pretty quick.

Should he get confirmation or whenever he is able to leave will go wearing his typical mask first going to the dwarfs that accompanied them, explain his intentions of meeting with Almuth to make restitution. Though also wish one to come as he intends to also talk about helping get a gate built Silver Deep to help it get back to its former goly, as he intends on not holding anything back and feel it would be best to have someone that Almuth can trust vouch for him despite being a Drow.

Once all of that is done will head to Kord temple to meet with Almuth.

Stvis goes and find the three dwarves Atrios, Torvo, and Zelvo are eating a stew and dreaking mead. They see you enter and let up three cheers.
"Aye the bard of the guard has come to pay us a visit? How you doing Stavey?" Says Zelvo.

Stavis will take off the mask when greeting the trio "Hello, I don't know if you all came to the party last night but I did come across others from Silver Deep and that though the King is present. Though was suggested that I would be better served to go meet Almuth, cousin to the King, at the temple of Kord to make restitution on the materials we took to make the gate at the Citadel."

"Also, was hoping one or more of you all would come to be present as I wish to help fund an expedition to have a gate built at Silver Deep. I don't intend to hide the fact that I am Drow and feel it would be helpful to have someone that Almuth could trust to help vouch for my intentions not having ulterior motives as would be expected from one of my race."

Stavis would give small chat though ensure he is staying out of the way of the dwarfs till they are ready to head off to Kord Temple.

@Stavis The Dwarven Trio cleans up and walks with you to the Temple of Kord. Outside Atrios says to Stavis "Now lad are ye sure you wanna go without the mask? Once we go in there and see Almuth, that is a bell that cannot be unrung."
