Nice. Trinal is definitely eyeing that as his work space and lab. He will of course work with the group on what's best and not simply take it without consensus.

OK, Trinal is finally leveled up to 10. I took an additional utility power- Arcane Empowerment, so I can turn up bursts and blasts to 11 when I need to, and a new Feat, Warding Soul. Any ally adjacent to me gets +5 fire resistance.

Also, for rituals, I took down Stavis' rituals and the ones I had were Create Campsite, Comprehend Language and Magic Mouth.

"In Tony Plush's opinion this site would make a decent location. It would take a skilled intruder to get in and Tony Plush can make sure that would not be a danger as well. Tony Plush calls dibs on a corner room!"

In a stage whisper to Stavis, Trinal says "You have the components for a Magic Mouth ritual? I think it'd be entertaining to put one on Tony's door to sing to him at night. Perhaps one of your more bawdy pieces from your repertoire?"

Stavis will shrug slightly and go back to assessing the acoustic of the room "Meals on the cheep especially for those on the street is the fastest way to befriend them, which I find to be the best watchmen over that of guards. Especially as they tend to know who to look for should any theft occur."

Will look to the Proffesor "Through probably wouldn't hurt to let Sadie and her adventuring crew access to the place and a room as well. So its more likely someone is hear besides the hired staff, especially should we go on at task as long as the last one. As it feels a bit bigger than we need today though something we could quickly grow to need in a not too distant future."

Will look to Tony and respond. "Don't make the adjustments to the exterior too noticeable or you're likely to broadcast that there is something worth stealing to those with the right set of skills."

After Tony has left as I'm assuming Trinal would have waited will respond quietly enough "Tempting as it as been a while since I supplied a good offering to Erevan, though I trickster is usually looking to pull off the trick without anyone know who was responsible though I will think about it." will have a bit of a devilish smile for that last part. [OOC yea adjusted as I forgot to add the rituals Trinal had first, in my defense didn't normally take Trinal for a trickster so didn't figure he would have had the ritual.]

He will think it over a moment before adding "Could do that or put a bell over his door with a warding to prevent its removal."

[OOC if the doors swing inward.] after awhile will add "Probably wouldn't hurt to add bells that for the doors downstairs with maybe a wooden crossbar/bolt to the kitchen door. Should probably bring that up to Tony later."

[OOC saw references to both crossbar / bolt so figured I would include an image for what I mean.
Image]

After that will head down to the storage area setting up a spot for his stuff as he doesn't intend on taking one of the rooms instead choosing to meditate where he will setup his playing on the first floor commons room helping to future ensure while they are not away that sneaking in is less enticing.

Trinal is going to go back to the Professor's place and gather his things. He'll then see about finding some furniture- bed, chair, a brazier, bookshelves(!), worktable, rugs and some lanterns.

Oh, and he'd like to visit a tailor to see about getting a new set of clothes, and a cobbler for new boots. The current threads are getting a bit threadbare, and the boots are worn out. Hopefully enough time to break them in before the next long march. :)

"Huh, we each get a room? We're not on the run, under the stars or stuck at a shabby inn?" he says with a grin at the others before finding Maizan.

"That goes for you too. You may not share our history, but I think you were meant to share our future. Our number was shrinking and we're happy to have you fight by our side."

OOC: I don't know if I missed it, but Maizan what's your class?

"Well, I could lob a few spells at you, some brickbats, make you feel at home", Trinal laughs.

After putting his stuff away and back to the main room will setup to start writing new songs about the group, minus talking about the gate.

He will look to Syric and respond jokingly "Syric if it makes you feel better could always put a hole in your roof so you can see the stars if you like."

"Though I do hate to point out we will likely not be staying very long before we are on the road again."

Puttering around and taking measurements upstairs, Trinal calls down "Oh, let us enjoy the moment, Stavis!"

So trinal has a shopping list. Where to first?

Other things people want to do before the dinner?

Who's room is who's?

Might as well see if there's a place that can either sell me or make the furniture I need first. Then the tailor.

The six bedrooms have a simple bed. Are you wanting an additional?

Well, I was going to take the room in the tower if there weren't any objections, so I could either move a bed up or buy a new one. Trinal figured it'd be better to keep the bedrooms on the main floor as they are so we could add more or have a spare.

OOC: This is just fluff, no need to spend a ton of time RPing buying stuff unless you have something in mind that isn't mind-numbing for everyone else.

Definitely, just didn't want to be that guy who goes off on a long solo shopping trip while everyone is at the table virtually twiddilng their thumbs. :)

I have no idea how one would go about obtaining things like a table, chairs or a bed in a timeframe like this one. But Trinal has an "arcane lab" setup in mind for it. He's a romantic and a sorcerer with a tower is just too tempting to ignore.

Okay so you want the tower. The basic furniture would involve finding a carpenter/woodshop. The prices would depend on how much you wanted to spend. Basic items(think IKEA quality) would be like 2gp per chest, 10gp per table, 30gp per bed. Specialized gear for arcana will run more based on that you are getting. Obviously luxury versions will increase based on quality of craftsmanship and materials.

"Oh I don't mean to stop you from enjoy it, as I can guarantee until the party at the very least before we would be leaving again."

Stavis would leave at some point to see about getting his gear and cape cleaned for the party as well as quickly look for an additional mask but would otherwise would spend the time until close to evening writing up new songs about the group. Once close to evening would go again go out and play at a different tavern or two returning close to two hours before morning and meditating.

[OOC just to reiterate Stavis isn't taking one of the rooms and would offer what would have been his to Saddie's group to use. He would let Trinal know this in case the bed in that room would be unnecessary as the group might be more interested in storage space than a place for a single person to sleep.]

Oh, given my finances we'll go for el cheapo. Just a bed, a decent worktable, a couple of bookshelves, a brazier (it'll get cold up there!), and maybe a rug or two.

You head out and mill about through the merchants in the area and find a furniture shopand carpenter. He doesn't have rugs, but he is able to tell you were to find a guy from the Freeborne Islands who makes some good ones.

Simple bed: 30g
2 bookcases: 10g/piece
1 decent worktable: 12g (it is a bit sturdier than his 10g model and you did imply decent)
1 brass simple braizer 20g

Total 82g

Refers you to a rug guy from the Freeborne Islands named Jean Vivre who is in a shop closer the docks.

@Stavis so you aren't taking a bedroom. Presumably you wouldn't lug your whole adventuring kit around with you when you are working the city. Where do you intend to store it?

@Syric, Maizan, and Tony I know Tony called a corner room, which one, and what other rooms are people claiming?

@Everyone you have a free evening and day before dinner, what do you intend to do before the dinner?

[OOC setup a spot in the storage area to put his stuff when he wouldn't need it and would claim a chair or bring in an additional one for the first floor commons area in the corner next to what I'm assuming is the fireplace to play his instruments when he is lounging around. Which would be the spot he would meditate so as to keep an eye out for anyone trying to sneaking in while the group is home. Though since he currently has been spending most of his evenings out entertaining at the taverns while seeding in some of the tales about the group, would mean there is still time such thievery could occur.]

Okay Stavis has his gear in the storage area in the cellar. In addition he claims one of the chairs as his chairs. If you take it, he'll cut ya! Currently he is out at taverns trying out his new songs which are getting a positive response, still need some tweaks which you are making between sets. stavis you do learn of a costume maker who makes various masks of quality. He is generally open in the afternoons to customers. His name is Paolo da Corse.
