"Now if you want to get tipsy Tony Plush knows just the place!"
[OOC aka it may be a bit premature to celebrate the successful gate constructions but Tony Plush is all for celebrating. :cheers: Especially as I image he figures the local females might be inclined to join.]

"Well gather your things, we just need you lads and lass to down a pint. It makes the experience a bit...more tolerable." The Professor turns to the Colonel. "Needless to say we have much to discuss on a diplomatic front. But I'd also like to get Stavis out of here. Can we arrange for him to be brought up in short order?"

"But of course Professor. We are assigning Victae here to be our liason in Waterdeep until such time that things are a bit more ironed out in our arrangements. I'll send for Stavis and have one of the Generals accompany us back through. I also must see if you have anyone capable of repelling a demon gate in your ranks. It appears the Chulassa are engaged in building one." Col Meneldur says.

He waves to a subordinate to go fetch a general, and another one to gather Stavis.

OOC If you have not started already please update your characters to level 10. The sheets should be uploaded to the dropbox, or sent to me directly and I can do such.

@Stavis
A few guards come in and instruct you to gather your things, and to assume the same procedures you had when being escorted to this room. Look forward, always follow instructions as given etc etc.

"We leave in three minutes." The Officer says matter of factly.

[OOC they confiscated my things when I arrived so assuming they came with that in tow.]

Stavis will look over his things specifically ensuring his instruments are still in working order before putting away his ritual book and flute Syric brought him. Afterward will bring out a long length of rope before blindfolding himself. When asked will mention he would rather ensure he is unaware of the location of the Gate as well as the gate address to ensure the Citadel he is not a future threat. Mentioning that his activities with the Phoenix Guard will eventually come to the attention of this brethren and should he fall into Drow hands, he can not reveal that which he doesn't know.

When blindfolded he will hold on to the middle of the rope so two guards can help direct him to the location and will comply with any additional requests made by said guards.

@Stavis Your possessions were clearly searched, as they aren't exactly in the same place you left them, but everything seems to be in working order. The Officer and his crewtake your rope and one walks behind you with a hand on the shoulder to guide you over door thresholds and some of the more uneven parts of the floor. You make your way up the stairs and down halls until you reach what they tell you is the gate room.

"The dark elf is ready for deportation sir." The officer says.

"Why is he blindfolded?" Col Meneldur asks.

"His idea sir. He said something about how he doesn't want any chance of his capture by other drow to reveal any details of the gate sir." The officer replies.

"Well remove that rope, and get me a pint of ale." Col Meneldur replies.

"Sir?" The officer says confused.

"Did I stutter?" Col Meneldur replies.

"No sir. Right on it sir." The Officer unties your rope and you hear him sprint off.

The Professor's voice fills Stavis' ears for teh first time in months. "It is more medicinal than celebratory."

@Trinal you feel recovered enough that should you want to head back to the Citadel you think you would be ok doing so.

@Citadel crew
The Professor says "I am not getting the impression Stavis here is going to be welcome at that pub Tony, so in the spirit of moving along I'll just take him to Waterdeep and notify General Watson so he can send over their delegation to begin negotiations." He grabs Stavis's hand and says "This will be slightly unpleasant, but since you won't be making several trips in short order I think we'll be ok. Ready?"

Trinal's just going to enjoy his tea and wait for the others, whom he assumes are coming soonish.

"Hello Sadie! It was definitely interesting. I'm glad I was able to take the short way back, certainly. We still have much to do, but I feel like we've reached a crossroads. Decisions will have to be made."

@Trinal "So I know that the General will be really pleased to see this in action, and will probably have a dinner in your honor. Maybe even a royal might show up." Sadie says. "Also is one of them going to grab your stuff?"

Stavis will nod his head once "Yes, let us be off." He will speak in the direction of he believes his comrades is located at. "Keep up the fight with Chulassa as they are still a treat even with the gate constructed and I am certain I can keep myself entertained while you go defeat them, or at the very least destroy the Demon Gates."

He will allow himself to be lead a couple steps before stopping, and in looking in the direction of Col Meneldur will state "If you would be kind enough to pass this message to Victea that I wish her 'blessings of Health, Wealth, and Stre... no... Courage' as she is already strong in mind and body." Bowing slightly while stating his blessings to be passed.

[OOC yes I know she is present but hasn't spoken up so being blindfolded Stavis doesn't.]

After that will indicate to the Professor he is ready to be off again.

@Stavis
"I'm rigth here goofball." Victae says. "That said, very kind indeed."

You walk forward and feel like the wind got knocked out of you. The Professor says "Just a few more steps and we'll be in waterdeep." A few more and you feel the wind knocked out again. You hear Sadie and Trinal talking.

"Sadie, hand me that tankard." The Professor says "Stavis, drink this please."

"Ah, Thanks.. " He will take a pull of the drink offered before passing it back.

After that will remove the blind fold and look around the room though will purposely ignore the gate itself.

[OOC clearly the affects of the travel are hitting him stronger than he is willing to admit.]

After looking over the place will join the conversation of Trinal and Sadie "Hello again Sadie, hope there are stories to tell of your own adventures during our absence."

@Stavis You look around the room and notice a rat's nest in the corner. Well maybe it's a rat's nest....or some rope? The blindfold and the barrier shocks of travelling through the portal clearly have you disoriented.

"Ah, yes. My things. I'll go back and get them. Thank you for the reminder!"

Trinal will go back and get his pack and other items that remain in the keep. He'll stop to get a drink before returning to Waterdeep, so he should be better off on the way back.

@Tony and Syric a round of huzzahs greet your proclamation of the gate opening.

@Trinal You get through the gate, gathe ryour stuff, head to Tony's favorite pub get a drink then make your way back to the gate and into waterdeep. By this point you see various high rnking officers and officals meeting in the gate area of Waterdeep shaking hands and doing introductions.

When Stavis notices the ranking officers he will put on his mask and continue his conversion with Sadie, while working towards being on the sideline. Though will greet any that approach him.
