Unless anyone has anything else for the night, we can settle in and move to the morning...

Handsy!? Humans are definitely weird. Yuk!

Quawff will spend his evening drinking and join any lively patrons in drinking, singing and merriment.

And no objections to moving to the next morning where the first one down will find me sleeping/snoring with my head on the table.

Ok, Quawff spends part of the evening drinking with the patrons while everyone else retires for the evening. There isn't a lot of merrymaking because people are still worried about the goblins, but they still feel confident that the Nine will deliver them from the goblin menace.

Morning comes. Daren is the first one downstairs, but waits for the others to arrive before eating.

May I have everyone's passive perception stat please.

If he's passed out from late night drinking it might very well be a zero.

12 is correct. But I have a snoring disadvantage of 12, so 0 would be correct. :shifty:

Or hangover could give a disadvantage, maybe not all the way down to 0 but close.

[ooc]Sorry everyone for the delay, was traveling then I started my new job so I've been super busy[/ooc]

The night passes uneventfully. As people come down for breakfast Marduk/Darren is already down eating when everyone else arrives one by one. Breakfast is some porridge that is spiced with something you've never tasted before, there are some odd little wrinkly items in the porridge, they are sweet, purple and a little chewy but tasty.

Any business you care to take care of before going to visit the mayor?

Ok breakfast is in yer bellies and you leave The Snuggly Duckling headed to the city center. As you head that way you do notice a few families pointing at Maeve and whispering amongst themselves as you pass. You reach the town square and head across it to the mayor's office/residence. You head up the steps and as you step into a small entry area/lobby where there is an older, rather plump woman sitting behind a desk going over some books. Well plump is probably generous, she probably weighs 450 lbs if she weighs an ounce. She looks up at you as you enter and even in the second that she looks at each of you somehow you feel like she has already taken your full measure.

"You must be the troubleshooters The Nine sent. Well if you can just wait for one moment then Mayor Niall will be with you."

When Darren first sees the woman will try to keep the shock from showing on his face, presuming to himself that he is only about half successful, will try to help hide it by bowing slightly as if in greeting. "No Problem at all."

He will than to slightly distract himself from staring, inspect the room to get a feel for how lavish the room is make up, and won't be able to help wonder if she is able to vacate the spot or if that is her permanent location.

Perception
[dice]0[/dice]

After he has done so if there is any seats will take up closest to the door.
