@Syric "Most people go up stream on the north or south fork about a mile or two to get some of the trout. But with last night commotion I don't know who'd be going today. Whatever the rascals did last night sure has stirred up a hornet's nest. The Baroness has appointed Razvan the Scorpion to personally see to the capture of the heretic bishop and finding out who was responsible for his escape. That's what the city guard said this morning anyway."

Stavis will quickly collect everything putting the communication stone, after whispering a message that he will head towards silver deep or the coast is clear to head towards them, in the bag of holding and putting that under his leather armor trying to make it look like he has a bit of a gut so that if he gets found and searched so that they bag might not be found.

After everything is put away will back track at least a mile, if he can get a head enough to perform Travelers Camouflage will do so, before making his way towards the road that will lead to Silver Deep, keeping a wide berth of Brackton and the search crews. He will keep an eye out for any gaps large enough that he could slip though.

@Stavis You manage to get the ritual off and start riding east by south eats into the rising mountains. You keep a good mile off the road, but the terrain gets rocky quick making it slow going. You are now about 5 miles away from town working slowly.

[OOC riding? the ritual was to make me stealthy? and that is heading towards the road that leads to Silver Deep. I thought it was North East of Brackton? Or are you saying I've gotten far enough now that I can start making my way that direction?]

@Stavis

Sorry I got confused I thought you did ghost horse again.

You are far enough now you can start heading towards silver deep if you wish in a general direction. The path you took initially was to get to a point where you'd be far enough away from the road to not be obvious.

[OOC np that's why I was asking for clarity]

With Stavis far enough away will pull out the bag of holding long enough to move the communication stone to his bag before putting back the bag of holding under his leather armor. After doing so will start to make the trek for the road to Silver Deep, staying vigilant of any groups that are searching from Brackton.

Once we finish breakfast Tony will get the group together in a room to have a private discussion.

"Tony Plush thinks we need to leave town. With the hornets nest that's been stirred up here we should get any supplies we might need and get gone. The longer we stay the more danger we are in. And Stavis is out there alone and may need support at a moments notice and we're too far away to help if needed. The only thing left for us here is some financial profit, which is not a priority for what we are planning. And while Tony Plush would like to end Scorpion as well, we have to stay focused on the big picture. And in Tony Plush's opinion the big picture should lead us back out onto the road today."

"Well, I was interested in seeing this reliquary that Brick was talking about. I don't like that the Army of Blood is collecting these things, but it seems that we were a bit too heavy handed last night and drawn too much attention. We should probably try to get out of town."

"I have the feeling that Brick won't take our not following through well. However, I'm also a bit concerned about the amount of attention we've drawn. I agree that staying is a risk we might be better off avoiding."

[OOC I know I'm not the one currently slated to do the job but I wouldn't mind attempting at the very least of check the fishing spot with the expectation of the guard in question isn't there because of the Bishop missing but if everyone is pretty sure he isn't going to be there and thus not much we can do past that I'm fine with leaving for Silver Deep.]

"He may not but he's also motivated by profit, given the amount of gold that Scorpion is offering up there's a better than even chance in Tony Plush's opinion that Brick would attempt to serve us up to get the reward once we aren't useful to him anymore. Maybe send him a message saying that given the climate in town now we felt it best we leave town before we came under scrutiny for last night and that we regret we were not able to assist him. He's a business man, hopefully he will understand. And if not better he's irritated than we find ourselves trying to fight our way out of town.

Also on our way out of town we should check in with my contact to see that all is well, unless anyone has an objection."

So yeah I think that the consensus is we leave town and link up with Stavis headed to Silver Deep after we check in with my contacts.

I guess Trinal will.

My dear B.- regretfully, due to the challenges posed by conducting our business in such an environment, we have been forced to postpone the meeting we discussed. Please accept our apologies. Once it is feasible to conduct legitimate business without undue interference, we will reach out to you. Thank you.

Trinal writes the note, and sends it via kid courier paying him 2g for it to be expedient. Now what are you guys going to do?

OOC: Make like a tree and get outta here?

Tony wanted to see his contact, so as long as we can do that expeditiously, I think that's next.

Correct, check in on our way out of town as I'm hoping we can get a small reward as that was mentioned as we signed on. Then we make like a drum and beat it.

Going back I don't see mention of a reward for the bishop's breakout. Did teagor or klovis promise one and I'm just not seeing it? Brick was paying that is for sure.

OOC: Ah, maybe we got our wires crossed. If that's the case, Tony- maybe we just bail. Rescuing the bishop was its own reward.

Still OOC: I hope we're not screwing up your carefully laid plans by being so cagey/cautious, Joun. I think we're really RPing it well, though. It's a lot of fun!

[ooc] no brick and the bishop rescue were just story hooks for various things. If you take em, great we explore that line, if you pass, then we go to the next one. Part of what I need to do better I think is making compelling hooks you can't turn away. I think killing the whole party (though it has provided a unique game experience in many way) also has resulted in you guys being a little hesitant to take chances.
