"Of course, my good friend. We are the souls of gentility, the essence of tact, and the very foundations of decency. We look forward to enjoying the blandishments of this fine establishment,' Trinal says somewhat waggishly. He cocks an eyebrow at the dwarf.

He let's you pass as you each drop 2 copper into the tin he is holding.

The tavern having a cover charge is rather unusual, and Tony doesn't remember them having one before, but given the refugee situation outside it makes sense. The place has a semidreary feel to it. People are nursing their pints. A dice game is the primary source of cheers in the far corner of the room. Bartender greets you as you walk in.

"Allo mates...and lady. 'Ow might I be o'service?" He says.

"Food and an ale for Tony Plush, it seems like it's been a lifetime since Tony Plush's last meal!"

Tony will find an open table as close to the dice game as possible

Hearing your order the barkeep gets a very large grin.

"Oh, go on then Tony. Sing your song." He's laughing and a few people at the bar proper turn smiling. He starts pourign your ale but hasn't handed it over yet.

Trinal cocks an eye at Tony. "Song? Is he mocking you, my friend?"

Stavis look across the room to see if there are any bards to ensure he isn't stepping on someone else's turf as he walks up to the bar. "Something hard for the group plus one still on the way."

"You do not want Tony Plush singing unless you wish to have to visit a cleric for damaged ears. Tony Plush leaves the singing to his friend Stavis here and Tony Plush sticks with the stabbing when necessary."

When he mentions Stavis he will make a sweeping gesture to him then at the end of his gesture Tony will have a gold piece between his fingers he's holding up to show the barkeep.

The gold piece fumbles out of your hand and you can't catch it before it lands in the ale.

"Aw come on Tony. You know the rules. Sing your song if you want the free pint!" The barkeep is clearly confused as to why you just won't sing for your free drink.

Trinal watches the scene with interest but doesn't seem to be too worried.

Sensing there is something playful afoot.

"Tony has his own song? I want to hear this." Victae says getting a devilish smirk on her face.

"If he sings well enough, can I get mine free also?" Syric laughs.

To Syric this seems like a good natured bar game in which Tony seems to be expected to do his song for a free drink. The feel you get from the barkeep and the patron onlookers is similar to what you would expect if a crowd was watching you tell a joke for a treat.

Ok what would you do if someone mistook you for someone else and started talking about like they knew you? This situation is similar but not exactly the same.

"Tony Plush means no offense and does not desire to let down you or any of your patrons but it seems like it was a lifetime ago that Tony Plush was here and in all honesty does not recall the song you are speaking of. Perhaps you have me confused with someone else, or the last time Tony Plush was here he may have over indulged in your fine beverage selection. Be that as it may the best Tony Plush could do at this point would be to attempt to recall some of the songs he's heard over his travels, or the better option would probably be to allow a professional like Stavis do the singing."

"He don't know the song!" One patron says in a disappointed tone.

"Awww seven hells. Worst Tony Plush I've seen in years." says another.

The barkeep pours the ale from one tankard to another in a manner to fish out the gold.

"I'll have the meals out for you in a bit. If your pal wants to sing, not harm I suppose." The bartender says disappointed.

Tony turns and looks for a table near the dice game and sees one that is large enough for the party, but has one woman sitting at it. She is dressed in a tricorner maritime hat, white shirt, and a vest. She is giving Tony dagger eyes.

Syric follows Tony's glance at the table and sees the woman glaring at Tony.

He leans towards Tony and says in a hushed tone and a grin, "Quite the popular fellow, Tony"

Victae takes an ale and some food and sits down to the same table as miss dagger eyes.

"What's your problem?" Victae asks plopping a fried piece of bread in her mouth.

"Your friend ought not be trading on a dead man's name is all. It is disrespectful. I hate swine like him." she responds.

"Yeah he rubs people the wrong way, but somehow wins them over in the end." Victae repsonds.
