"Greetings, noble Demitri. It's good to see you again," Trinal says. "We have recently returned from an expedition and felt you should know what we learned."

He clears his throat and continues.

"We learned from Kyros that his mantel had disappeared, and he was very concerned about this, because of the impact it could have on his standing. We agreed to look into it discreetly, in order to help him out. We learned that Moris had been corresponding with Teucer, and apparently removed the mantel. Moris has connections to a soothsayer, who received the mantel, then delivered it to a minotaur not far from here."

Trinal looks serious. "We discovered that the minotaur expected to be able to sacrifice someone- he expected Kyros, but was willing to accept Moris; he simply did not care- to his god, Orcus. We dispatched the minotaur and brought the mantel back- " he gestures at the mantel in Tony's hands. "and felt you should know the results of our investigations and what was going on."

Tony will present the mantle to Demitri solemnly and perhaps shockingly to everyone else, keep his mouth shut.

Stavis will watch carefully Demitri's reaction to Trinals news all while trying not to make it too obvious of his focused attention.

"Gods save my house from this torment. To know that Moris is in league with the enemy of our house is appalling. I suppose I owe Kyros an apology for not believing him, but I could not dare believ Moris would do such an act. Moris was always a sweet and timid boy, when he returned from war with the swagger of a soldier and a man I assumed that battle had sundered his weak ways revealing the true man beneath. But that apparently is not the case. I thank you for bringing me this news. It is hard to hear, for sure, but I as the patriarch of my family and an elder on the council must resolve the matter."
He looks a bit in shock by the news.

"Aegon, I need you to send for my sons, and also tell the council we are meeting tonight of great importance." He says before turning back to you as a group.

"Please stay a few days as our guests, eat our finest food, and drink our finest wines."

In the distance you hear a faint choral sound. He doesn't seem to notice it.

"Thank you, good Demetri. Please don't hesitate to ask for any help or information we can provide. We are very sorry to be the bearers of bad news and hope that your family comes out of this time stronger."

Do I have any idea what the choral sound may represent?

"I think we should head inside the house, I believe this trial is about to be over." Syric will begin walking towards where he heard the sound coming from.

Syric (and presumably the rest of you walk into the main hall. There are a few long tables and a door to the side which has a white light seeping out underneath it. The choral sound is coming from there.

"I'm pretty sure that's our cue. Gentlemen and lady?" Trinal will open the door and bow slightly as he holds it open for the party to go through.

Gobo says "I think I want to stay. My whole life I've looked for myself. And I have committed myself to Bahamut. This place still needs work and I think I can do that. I can assist Demitri and these people. Nicholas, if that is permissible I would like to continue my quest for peace among these people."

Syric starts to object but quickly realizes it would be pointless. "I know you'll bring honor to your family Gobo. It's good to know someone will be here fighting Orcus." he reaches out his hand Gobo "Take care friend."

Syric steps through the doorway and lifts a hand to his head to run his fingers over an ear, looking for any sign of changing back to normal.

Gobo removes his amulet of health (+2 to non AC defenses, +5 poison resist) and hands it to Syric as a parting gift.

"Honor be with you in your journey, and may Bahamut provide."

Victae gives Gobo a big hug and a kiss on the cheek. "Find a kind woman, raise strong kids, and be at peace friend."

She walks through the door.

Stavis with a slight smirk "Don't do too good of a job or there may be no Orcus to fight back in our time." after the comment and bow will chuckle as he walks through the door.

"You're good in a fight Gobo, we hate to lose you. But if this is what you wish then while you will be missed, Tony Plush wishes you well and that you will find everything you are looking for and more. May Bahamut and Avandra look over you friend."

Tony will give Gobo a firm handshake and a chuck on the shoulder then exit through the door.
