"But I like long moonlit walks. Still, no beach here, so I guess some rest is a good idea." Trinal appears quite exhausted, actually, and gratefully sets about getting ready for some rest.

"Let me know when it's my turn at watch."

We'll keep the same watch rotation as I defined first inside and assuming nothing happens overnight we will leave at first light.

The party rests. Watches are dolled out and go without incident.

In the morning you head out. Nicholas who you've felt in your presence the whole time makes himself visible to you as you walk along.

"That was rather daring. What lessons if any do you feel you have learned from this place so far?" he asks in his characteristic devoid of feeling tone.

"That Orcus has more in his arsenal than just barbarians." Gobo answers.

"And if we are back in history as it would seem, that his rise to power has been a gradual one." Victae answers.

There is always someone who wants to dominate for their the own gain. Evening willing to sell their family and their souls to get it.

Tony guffaws at that.

"Tony Plush has learned a lot of practical lessons in trap implimentation and disabling. But that's probably not what you are driving at. Probably something closer to ambition can make normally good people make bad decisions or deals would be what we are supposed to take away from this."
