LPDnD: The Goblins, The Bad, and the Ugly
Ham'mon looks around the room, inspecting the floor paintings, bodies, walls, etc. to determine what the hell was going on here.

"I will trade if you want but could be helpful for you to have the bonus should you have the need to talk your way out of another sticky situation." Stavis will change in to his original set of leather armour should the trade take place.
Re: LPDnD: The Goblins, The Bad, and the Ugly
Spinitk pauses to think for a moment sizes up Stavis. "No worries my friend. I am reconsidering. The extra protection that Darkleaf gives would be better suited to you." Smiling "And thinking back to my recent history, I can probably use all the buffing help I can get"
Spintik will strip out of his current leather and Dawn Sald's leather armor. Once finished will look to see if there is a way to the roof from here and check it out.

As Ham'mon looks around he opens the chest and sees wrapped in silk some kind of leather bag with weird runes on it. Inside that leather bag cannot seem to be opened as if magically sealed, but when he shakes it it has a slight rattle.

"Ah, what do you have there, my friend?"
If I can see it, i'd like to make an Arcana check. I'll use my Knack for success too (assuming I can).

I'll also try to identify it.

Trinal and Ham'mon try to identify the leather item, but come up short. Trinal thinks it is something Bha'alish but what exactly or how it is used eludes him. Ham'mon by contrast has no clue.

Let's assume we drag the bodies out and burn them a good distance from the tower, and then (unless anyone has objections), let's head back to Belholt.
I'd like to discuss the possibility of using the tower as a base of operations, but it may be a bit premature for that.

I have no problem with you guys taking over the tower. But you have some logistical things to worry about. First it is half a day away from Belholt. Not a huge deal, and after you guys get horses even less so. Second the goblin smell will take a while to clean out. Third, if you guys leave (and don't have staff or magical spells to watch over for you) others may take over your tower. Fourth this is a known tower for the Bha'alist group. You don't know how often or if other Bha'al guys will just show up looking for the goblins you just slayed.

Re: LPDnD: The Goblins, The Bad, and the Ugly
Stavis after noticing some interest in claiming the tower "I think we should come to a decision on what gets done with the tower. I'm not completely against claiming it but unless we can hire some retainers to defend, clean up, and make any improvements, I would rather see the tower burned to the ground to ensure the cult isn't able to reclaim the tower again. Should we decide to claim would suggest leaving two or three people here until the group is able to hire the retainers necessary."

"Well, it's made of stone so we're not going to be able to do more than replace the stench of goblin with that of smoke. Let's talk to the others in Belholt and if we want to do it, we can look into costs for hiring people."

[ooc] you should put up some sort of sign or warning to let people know you've got dibs on it. add some goblin heads on spikes for a further deterrant!

[ooc- not a bad idea. Maybe a sign of Pelor on the door?]

Ham'mon looks over the tower.
"This is a den of evil. It has the stench of Bha'al to it. It should be put to the torch."
[ooc]I'm making the assumption that my perfect roll on religion while searching would have given me SOME clue as to the cult using the tower, and if not, that Trinal would have shared the fact that the sack appears to be Bha'alist in origin[/ooc]

[ooc- yes, I would have said as much. I wanted to take another look at it in town, maybe have the Professor get a gander at it. As to the building, it's just a building in Trinal's opinion. If it was used for evil, it could be used for good too.]
