5 below max, no point in healing more right this second then...and still have 2 healing surges left for the last room!!

And as per standard protocol Tony heads out and looks for purses (ie. searches the room, bodies, corpses, etc)

Searching the room you see a lot of bones. One bone in particular catches your eye. It appears to be a skeleton key. In addition you see a corpse wearing some hide armor with interesting designs embroidered on it. An 8 inch wooden carved stick, and two vials.

Professor looks it over.

Professor says "The wand is a magic wand from Sagemoor. Looks to amplify critical strikes. The armor is known as barkskin armor. Legend says once perday you can increase your resistance. And more healing potions. Good to see those come again."

Magic wand +1 to attack and damage. Crits +1d6
Barkskin Hide armor: +1 to AC. Power Daily Add 2 to your AC, each time an attack hits your AC it goes down by one.

"If Tony Plush is tracking right Syric could use a repleneshment on his healing potion and if we give the second to the Professor that gives us all one for the last stop on our undead mystery tour. Tony Plush isn't much for magic or for some of the heavier armor so he will defer the items to the others."

To clarify the Barkskin hide armor is hide armor (+3) and grants an additional +1 on top of that. I had intended it to be Tony's armor, so if the party doesn't object if we can wait til tonight I can retcon the loot.

Yeah, the problem with hide is the armor check penalty. That and I"m not 100% sure if I'm proficient as well.

The Professor shakes his head. "Wait, I'm sorry. Did I say Barkskin Hide? I guess that skelly bastard knocked me harder than I realized. I meant the famed Luring Withdraw Leather Armor."

PHB2 pg 201
Armor: Leather
Enhancement AC +1
Power (Daily): Immediate Reaction. Trigger: An enemy misses you with a melee attack. Effect: You shift 1 square and slide the triggering enemy into the space you vacated.

You make your way across towards the last door in the main entry hall. You put the key in the lock and slowly turn the key and hear a soft click. The door opens to a short hallway to another door that has the red star you've seen around and some script in a language none of you recognize.

You think you hear voices on the other side.

The Professor holds up his hand to wait and presses his ear against the door to try and get a better listen.

Unknown male voice. Has an accent, you can't likely figure out where from...."and will have us wait until we are called. You do not question the Vampire Lord, or you shall be expelled left to suffer. His envoy to the barbarians will help determine their true motives, and what is in it for us. As for the god of murder people, you don't remember the campaign against them three hundred years ago? They are filled with fools."

Another voice
"But what if they can find the relics. If they get those then Bha'al has a chance no?"

First voice
"Well maybe, but what are the odds that they won't blow it. Bha'alists are prone to infighting and incompetence. They are just as likely to kill themselves as they are to be eradicated by the sheep again."

Tony will whisper to the others...

"Tony Plush is going to try to enter this fight unnoticed and get the drop on them, so when you kick down the door make a big racket, hopefully Tony Plush can sneak in unnoticed and get the drop on our new, soon to be re-deceased, acquaintences."

That is the map.

So to make sure I understand the plan. Victae, Syric, Professor make a racket, after that you'll try to sneak in?
