My attacks shift to the other Gargoyle then...no CA so no sneak attack damage and attacks are 2 less to hit each

Per standard we just killed all the bad guys protocol Tony goes looking for purses (ie. searches the room)

"There is nothing I've seen that terrified me as much as seeing an ally like Mr Plush become a puppet for that vampire." says the Professor.

"The only thing worse is being the puppet." says Victae in a tone more serious and wracked with guilt than any of you have seen to this point.

Looking about you find the following:

Dwarven Scale armor +1 (intended for victae, and I have the full description at home)

Gleaming Chain Armor +1 (Encounter Power: upon taking damage gain concealment until the end of next turn. Augment 1 to regain this power)

2 healing potions.

Some letters written in what the professor identifies as Draconic.

A medallion, no innate magic, but it looks like it has a Raven and a snake battling on it.

Tony grunts

"That was...unpleasant to say the least. Which is why Tony Plush was sure to end him with EXTREME prejudice. Theft of one's free will is something Tony Plush will not stand for. EVER. It's one of the reasons Tony Plush appreciates and supports Avandra as he does. We should always have the freedom to choose our actions. Tony Plush hopes you accept his apologies Professor. Tony Plush is trying to not make a habit of stabbing his allies, but is not doing as good of a job on that front as he would like apparently."

"You have nothing to apologize for Mr. Plush, except that floppy sword display on that gargoyle. I didn't think gargoyles could laugh like that." He chuckles.

Syric, thinking back a bit on the battle, looks up from the chainmail armor he was eyeing and looks to Tony "Hey, Tony...why do you speak in third person all the time?"

"It serves the purpose of making Tony Plush memorable and building his reputation of course. Very rarely do employers remember the names of some random mercenaries or adventurers they hired to get a job done years later, but they will remember Tony Plush. And they will remember that he was someone who got the job done and therefore will look to hire him again. And as that reputation and noteriety grows it can also serve the purpose of ending a conflict before it starts. Like if Tony Plush is hired to recover a stolen item, he goes to the thief, says "'Hi, Tony Plush is here to recover X, you can give it back now and leave town, never to be seen again or you can make Tony Plush take it back by force which ends with you dead and the items still going back to the owner, choose one'. Most people are going to choose option A. So Tony Plush fullfills his contract and he doesn't have people trying to poke holes in him at the same time. For Tony Plush it's a win-win."

[Whiteness]

"So...it IS because you're a businessman!" Syric says, very happy with himself.

"That makes sense friend, I was beginning to worry it was a compulsion or spell of some sort. I hope it works as you intend." Syric says with a friendly slap on the back.

[Furiel]

"Exactly! And if it does work as Tony Plush intends and this situation we have found continues to grow then you may very well get a front row seat to see how well it works.

Professor, do you read Draconic? If not then perhaps we should make our way out of this den of iniquity and head back to town before it gets too late. Gobo or Ham'mon surely can when they return and we can have them review them if needed when they get back from their mission.

And first round is on Tony Plush for a successful adventure!!"

Pack the loot, divvy as seen fit, Tony has no interest in any of the new stuff except the amulet, not to wear but for it's potential significance to be researched later and back to Belholt!!

Syric heads back to the chain armor and begins to swap his own out for it, its crystalline gleam intoxicating. He packs up his chainmail or arranges it in a way that will let him carry it out.

He kneels, holding his sword in front of him with the tip down and gives thanks to Melora and renews his promise to keep hunting abominations like these. He looks at his sword and the etching that runs down the length and says another prayer of thanks to Kord.


He gets up and returns to the loot, pausing as he looks at the medallion, "I'd think the raven has to do with the Raven Queen but I'm not familiar with the snake or what them battling means. I think we should make haste to get out of here before we run into Vlad or Viggo. One of them may be the Vampire Lord that Drayson was referring to, and I don't know about you three, but I could use a drink."
