Gobo to Stavis

If no consensus is made will load 1 crate of each leaving 4 spots that can be decided in the morning. Once that's done will meditate for four hours before offering to relieve Gobo and Syric saying to Gobo. "Let me take watch, we have a long ride ahead of us, and with us loaded down could become targets by any bandits in the area and will want everyone at their full potential. Should an alarm need be made during my watch I promise to ensure your awoken."

When Tony wakes up and is consulted he will agree with Stavis. One each of the others and we put all the crates that are staying here in the warehouse before we go so they are somewhat protected from the imminent explosion of the forge.

Btw Joun, what skill or roll are you going to be expecting or asking us to use for the actual demolition? Just thinking ahead...

You guys looking at the battlemap from combat, explain exactly how you want to use 3 small barrels of gunpowder, an ignition source, and proper placement. And I give you a DC appropriate to that plan. So if there is some crazy plan that involves backflips and identifying plants I'll adjust incorporating acrobatics and nature checks.

Syric agrees with Stavis and the others and will take watch and be relieved of watch when applicable. He had taken a nap before the activities tonight so a short sleep tonight will hopefully suffice.
Spoiler:
Within 5 squares of Syric: +1 to Healing surges, +3 Diplomacy, +2 Intimidate, +2 Speed on surprise and 1st regular rounds
Between 6-10 squares of Syric: +1 Diplomacy

I was thinking more like some kind of fuse then run like hell. Is there any unused paper around that we could make an improvised fuse or fuses with using the paper and trace amounts of gunpowder?

In the interest of not getting bogged down please select one of the following plans:

1) Extinguish and clear out the forge. Pour all the gundpowder into the forge. Shoot a flaming crossbow bolt into the door.
2) Extinguish and clear out the forge. Pour all the gunpowder into the forge. Tie ropes together and put one end into the powder. Light the rope and let it burn until it gets to the gunpowder.
3) Suspend the barrels above the forge via rope or leather straps harvested from the fallen dwarves clothes. Set rope/strap on fire and run.
4) Suspend the barrels above the forge via rope or leather straps harvested from the fallen dwarves clothes. Shoot the rope/strap from range with crossbow, shuriken, or other ranged attack.
5) Make a small fuse out of cloth from dwarf clothing for each barrel, light fuse and roll the barrels towards the forge building.

Vote now. We do majority this afternoon or when all have voted.

Part of me wants to vote for #1 because of the awesome factor, but #2 is the safer option so in the interest of not blowing myself up...

I vote #2

I will vote #2 with #1 as backup. That is if the rope doesn't burn all the way to the gunpowder we have a backup plan of just shot it.

Gobo does cold damage and that will not ignite things.

Okay a super majority has elected option 2.

We'll fast forward a bit.

Everyone is rested. It is 10am. You have your dailies back. You are healed to max. Have all your healing surges. The forge has been extinguished for a few hours now and cleaned out.

I'll let

[roll 1d6 determine who sets the wagon contents]
1-Gobo
2-Ham'mon
3-Stavis
4-Syric
5-Tony
6-reroll

Roll(1d6)+0:
5,+0
Total:5

Tony you will tell me what is in each wagon. That will be canon.

You guys have poured the gunpowder into the forge and are getting ready to make a rope fuse.

How much rope do you want to use, and who is sacrificing their rope for the cause?

And seriously if you don't have a concensus by 2pm I'll just take which ever response on rope usage I want.

Gobo will use his rope for the fuse. A good soldier would always sacrifice their material goods for the betterment of the clan's goals.

Stavis cuts a foot of his rope and lights one end watching for how long it take to burn that amount to determine how long the fuse will need to be.

Wagon Angel has 10 crates of Brago's gear in it - leading with Tony driving
Wagon Dragon has 10 crates of Brago's gear in it and also Stavis' keg of ale on the bench - Stavis driving
Wagon Banshee has 10 crates of Brago's gear in it - Syric Driving
Wagon Centaur has 1 crate each of the other makers, 1 Skull+blood, 1 wolf head, 1 pine tree, 1 windmill, 1 dwarven rune and 1 double fish for a total of 6 crates - Ham'mon or Gobo driving, they can mud-wrestle to see who's driving

The rest of the gear that we are not taking will be put in the warehouse as far from the forge as possible

Wagons will be on the road and well off the map before the fuse is lit and whoever is doing the lighting will light the rope then run up the road to safety before detonation. Tony believes the group should wait and not move out until detonation is confirmed...so when we see something like this....

It takes 35 seconds to burn your foot of rope.

edit: I rolled a percentile die to determine the number of secconds for your foot of rope. As there are manufacture irregularities in rope construction (even in modern times) I will do the same thing. Roll percentile x feet of rope, will determine time of fuse. You will not know until you light it.
