Stavis will tell both Tony and Syric "Use my share of the reward to pay for the materials and such, it was my fault this occurred so only fair I pay the cost."

"Thank you Ham'mon for staying to guard the gear."

@Tony and Syric

You two pull into Belholt after sunset and find Brago's light on with him in his parlor reading a book.

@ Gobo, stavis, and Ham'mon. As you settle in for a long wait you establish a camp next to the broken wagon. Towards dusk you see a trio approaching. Two normal size and one short coming up on the road.

I'll go ahead and get the wagons parked and secured before I head in.

Syric warmly returns the greeting, "Hello Brago! We bring good news, though we had some issue on our return trip. One of the wheels on a wagon broke, can you send someone to assist?"

"But of course. We can send one of your wagons back with a carpenter and a spare wheel. But tell me what of Heppil?" Brago's face lights up in glee.

"You will have no more trouble from him Master Truque, nor from his forge." Syric says with a smile. "But, it would seem you were not Heppil's only target, we've found a few things we would like your thoughts on. We have brought two wagons full of your wares with us, the wagon with the broken wheel was full as well but the wagon that stayed for protection held an assortment of goods with other marks on them."

When Stavis notices the travellers will ensure his companions are made aware before waving in greeting towards the travels. He will however be watchful of their reaction should they prove to have unfriendly intent.

@Wagoncamp

The trio gets closer you see Trinal, a gnome, and a female elf.

"Looks like someone's having a bad go of it."The gnome says. "What happened to the wheel?"

"Greetings, Ham, Stavis." Trinal eyes the wagon. "Should I assume that the rest are on the way to Belholt ?"

"Greetings again Trinal, Gobo's also around here somewhere. Probably doing a quick perimeter check."

Stavis indicates the wagon with the broken wheel. "Yes, not my finest moment driving a wagon, though having a rare moment to drive one Ereven Ilesere must have had a hand in ensuring I was error free till a more comical of situation presented himself."

"With as early a departure as we had, unless they two ran afoul should already have arrived with the two wagons that went ahead. But where are my manners greetings to you both, if you are trusted by Trinal then all the more welcome to stay and rest the evening with us by the fire." Stavis with that last part offers places by the fire from wood collected from the felled tree and will then go retrieve his flute. As he returns to the fire starts to play something softly, though seemingly more to himself then gain praise or money. Unknowingly if to ensure no rhetoric at him being the cause of the wagon or to ensure his playing is unable to be at the advantage of someone who would try to sneak up tot he group.

The gnome and elf look at Stavis, look at each other do some eye/face gestures at each other. She looks at him sternly then nods to Stavis and whispers "Go on."

The gnome dressed in a purple jacket, yellow embroidered vest, white shirts, and green pants bows slightly. "Professor DK Gladdenstone. You may call me Professor. I don't much care for the DK and Gladdentstone seems rather banal to be honest. If you know Trinal, and he seems like a reasonable young man, then I guess it is a pleasure to meet you." He takes a slight bow to Ham and Stavis. "And this is..." gesturing to the elf who looks mid twenties with a short ponytail of black hair wearing a green tunic and pants, a pack, and a glaive(polearm weapon) strapped to her back.

"Victae Meneldur. A pleasure to meet you. We've heard nothing but good things." She says with a polite, but obviously uncomfortable smile. "So...I thought Trinal said there were more of you? Did they go off for help?"

"Ah, where are my manners?" [ooc- they were with me when I was running errands and couldn't reply to the thread] Trinal says. "I met with the good Professor and Victae on the road and we have been enjoying each other's company as we travel to Belholt. I hope all is well?"

Syric looks for any subtle clues in Brago's attitude. How was he looking when he was asking about the job being done and how does he look now that I've told him? Anxious, manic, excited, devious, etc..
