Hunter's pack is outside he scope. However you can probably come up with the items contained within and build your own.

Understood on Hunters does that also hold true for the Cold-weather?

Everlasting provisions = 840
2 bags of holding @ 1K each = 2000
4 tents @ 10 each = 40
4 standard adventure's kits @ 15 = 60
5 climbing kits @ 2 each = 10
thieve's tools = 20
everburning torch = 50
subtotal = 3020

5 sets of winter clothes/cloaks + Material to make snowshoes = X

Do we need the second bag of holding or should we save more money for the arcane teleport components?

Need probably not but as soon as we think we don't we'll realize we do. And it was the best way I could find to get approximate value of the armor in a few items.

Maybe change tactics in the haggling and go for items instead of gold and we can probably get more.

Sending Stones:

Bring with or use with the prof? I see merit in both and don't feel strongly either way, just trying to get the decision finalized.

Does the need to have them on hand for scouting purposes outweigh the need to stay in touch with the Professor?

I'd say yes unless we need to coordinate anything else on the gate or travel.

Whichever way we go, we'll find a need for the other. Let's just keep them with us, as they're more useful tactically that way.
A man may fight for many things. His country, his friends, his principles, the glistening tear on the cheek of a golden child. But personally, I'd mud-wrestle my own mother for a ton of cash, an amusing clock and a sack of French porn. - Edmund Blackadder

On gate coordination, the Waterdeep gate will probably be done well before you guys boot up the Citadel and thus when you do your end it will be able to go.
