I'll make an Athletics check to try and prevent Ham'mon from rolling off.

@ Tony
The sheriff speaks up. "My lord, the man there is Tony Plush. He has this irritating habit of talking about himself like that."
The baron "Ah so he's a dimwit then? Needs to say his name so he won't forget?" He then speaks very loudly in that condescending tone people use with the mentally ill or foreigners who don't speak english. "MR. PLUSH, DO YOU HAVE ANYTHING TO ADD? WHAT SHOULD WE DO TO THE NAUGHTY WOMAN WHO ATTACKED YOU?"
He rolls his eyes.

"Tony Plush assures your lordship that his mental faculties are uninhibited.
As for Rieunna's punishment, as Tony Plush understands it the normal punishment for theft is a couple days in the stocks. As she is an Eladrin, who are known for their love of beauty, Tony Plush would suggest in addition to a couple days in the stocks he would suggest shaving her head, thereby removing some of her personal beauty. This would serve as an additional and longer lasting reminder of the consequences of her poor choices rather than just a couple days in the stocks which could be easily fogotten once she has left town."

@tony
The baron says "I'll take it under advisement. Where is the woman?"
Rieunna steps forward. "Here I am my lord. The events recounted were largely accurate. My only addition would be my mind was clouded by too much ale. It led me to make poor decisions regarding a man I didn't think had my cousins' best interest at heart. I did the deed, but pray that your lord takes pity upon me given Mr. Plush's suspicious behaviors and my own consumption of spirits."
" You say suspicious behavior. How do you mean?" asked the baron.
"How he says his own name constantly and brags constantly about deeds which seem implausible for such an average man. It seemed behavior of an unsavory person. I think I attempted a robbery to scare him off my cousins, lest he take advantage of them."
"Very well. You may stand down. Sheriff we have a witness?" asked the Baron.
"Aye my lord. Drayson saw the whole thing." says the sheriff.
"She grabbed his dagger from behind and demanded his money. I don't particularly like Mr Plush, but his account is true. I can't speak to the woman's state of drink at the time." says Drayson.
"Very well. I've heard enough. Rieunna is sentenced to one day i. The stocks. Judgement is final."

"Your lordship"
Tony will give a slight bow and a flourish of his cloak to the Baron and he will head for the chapel with the hope of finding the caretaker there.

@Tony
You leave the Baron's steps as he attends to others on the agenda.
You wander through the streets to the west side of town until you find the chapel. You walk into the modest building and on the inside find something rather remarkable. On the outside the building looked rather plain and unassuming, but on the inside the place is packed with paintings, sculptures, and tapestries representing the various gods. Sitting on a bench near the center is an old man in robes seemingly half awake.

Tony will approach the man and speak quietly to him
"Morning good sir, Tony Plush wonders if you are the caretaker of this shrine, and if so if he could have a few moments of your time to discuss a matter that Tony Plush believes might be of religious import."

@Wagon Party People- All the wagons have safely got back to Brago Truques around dinner time. You guys are slightly ahead of Tony on the timeline.

[OOC would say let the wagon party know when time has gotten to that point then as I imagine Tony will want to be present for receiving payment and any talks with the sheriff.]

Once they've arrived back Syric will have someone else tend to his wagon as he makes his way inside to find Brago and tell him that his goods have been returned along with the items with strange markings.

A sudden gasp of air from the old man as he sits up and wakes. "Huh? Caretaker? yes, yes that is me." His old eyes look over Tony. "What can I help your soul with today?"

If there's time, Trinal will ask Brago if he can look at the history books he has in his library, and if he knows anyone who can read Dwarvish (and is discreet).

Tony will move slowly over and sit on the bench near the man...
"Tony Plush's soul is not in much need today, Avandra sees to that on a daily basis, knowledge on the other hand is something that Tony Plush is in need of. Tony Plush ran across some markings in his latest travels that he suspects might be of a cult or other religious entity and Tony Plush was hoping you might recognize these markings and be able to give him some guidance on what significance they might have.
There were several humanoids who all had a skull tattooed on their chest, and the skull was surrounded in a circle of blood droplets. These humanoids were also consorting with a creature of the underdark so it is Tony Plush's professional opinion that they did not have good intentions, nor good in their hearts. Are you familiar with this mark by chance?"

He is amenable to you looking through his history books and he happens to read, write, and converse in dwarvish. Something he picked up being partnered with Heppil's brother for so many years.Jimer Lins wrote:If there's time, Trinal will ask Brago if he can look at the history books he has in his library, and if he knows anyone who can read Dwarvish (and is discreet).

Trinal will show Brago the letters. He'll also do some parsing of the books for any information about the cult the Professor mentioned, particularly with regard to any activities in this region, historical or recent.
