Mr Eshan refills So Leet's drink. "So you two are headed to Bryx. That's a ways off. What kind of business are you into Mr. Leet?"

@Eli, Cuspar Eli hams it up for the crowd who hoot and holler for a few minutes. With the mic cut the ref congratulates Eli and apologizes for not thinking he had it in him. They take Davitakka out of the ring back stage and clean up the ring for the next fight.

As Eli makes his way through the tunnel he is joined by an ecstatic Cuspar who is pretty much speechless at what he just saw. As you approach the Toydarian Atta "This is why I never agree to quadruple purses. I don't know you, I can't wager on what I don't know." Atta laughs. "However you made me a lot of money. No one but a few bet on you so the house did really well, and even though people lost they got a good show. Here is your 500 credits and a bonus of 200 for keeping the crowd happy. You can come back next week? Maybe we can get you a fight name like Electric Eli." Atta says trying to lay on whatever charm a small flying elephant looking creature can muster in his thick accent.

[Eli's balance is now 814 credits]

Eli laughs with Atta and says with a wink, "You can't blame a guy for trying though. Thanks for the bonus, that's very generous of you. If I'm in town next week or any time in the future I'll definately be back. However I have some pressing business that will likely get me headed out of town in the next few days. Thanks for the opportunity to keep my skills sharp and tell Davitakka that he needs to work on his Kel-thon fury form. Every punch he threw from that form he was over-balancing himself and leaving his legs vulnerable to a sweep takedown. Against a grappling specialist he'll get a leg broke before he knows what hit him like that. Thanks again Atta."

Eli walks away with Cuspar in tow, and as they are exiting the arena, "Well I hope you enjoyed the show and made a nice junk of change off me, now go buy me a hotel room with those winnings and we'll call that my cut since I did all the work."

[OOC: I assume Cuspar collected his winnings when we were at the pay window, if not, I go back to get my credits]

Eli - after that beatdown, I'll get your room and a double-jointed Twi'Lek, if that's your poison! That was great! In fact, I'd like to give you half my winnings - it's just found money to me!

Cuspar holds out 800 credits to Eli. [Or holds out a credit stick to transfer credits, or whatever this era's banking would make plausible]

Where'd you learn to fight like that?

Bulwark decides to call it a night and puts out the camp fire. He crawls into the nunahide shelter and falls asleep.
At night he has strange dreams of bothans having their kneecaps forceably removed.

Klak rustles in his sleep a bit. Was that his commlink? he wonders. It wouldnt matter, the fish ale he drank earlier was keeping him in a deep sleep. One he would need because the fish ale hangover may be the worst he has ever felt. He didnt look forward to the morning but hoped it would come soon enough.

Thanks for that as well, but it wasn't necessary. As for your question, that is a more complicated story. Essentially I've been training since I was a youth in hand to hand combat so many of the basic attacks you saw tonight were a part of that training. The rest really comes from the last 5 or so years as I've been traveling the galaxy I've been participating in alot of events like this in my travels and just through practice I've learned what the crowds seem to like so I try to give them a good show. Life isn't always easy in places like this so if they are going to shell out their hard earned credits to watch me fight, while most of the mooks like the guy I fought tonight I could drop in 30 seconds, that doesn't seem fair to the spectators. No one wants to see a skinny kid from nowhere walk into the ring, sweep his leg on the first punch he threw then have me slap on a Devaronian Knee Destroyer and have him tap out before anyone even realizes the fight started. So I go in there, play defense for a bit while the guy gets a little cocky and let him have his moment, then I start picking him apart and get him good and mad, then it's time to finish it. But I digress. My training has taken an unfortunate turn of late as I was separated from my mentor several years ago so I continue to study the teachings that I was able to recover and I look to the day in the future that I am reunited with him...

Eli trails off for a moment with a far off look, then he shakes his head and continues

Anyway, some of what I know I can teach you and the others if you want. However there will always be secrets that only a full practitioner of The Wae can know. Speaking of the others, we should probably check on them. Especially Klak, I expect his mouth probably got him in hot water again by now.

Klak might not be feeling too well. Quarrenese Ale tends to have some... interactions with the gastrointestinal systems of land dwellers...

Cuspar pantomimes squatting to release explosive diarrhea.

I wonder where the others are? It's odd that no one else came to watch the fight - but perhaps there are commlink problems. I couldn't get through to Dood earlier.

"I'd say not well enough, but is there ever really an 'enough?' I enjoy the new. My father insisted that I not spend my entire life embedded in bureaucracy and government, and insisted that I experience more of the galaxy than the guilded halls of Bothaui or Coruscant. I think the vagabond life is a good one. Whereas my father's problems are large and carry the weight of the Republic, mine rarely escalate beyond whether or not a certain berry is edible."

Mr. Eshan chuckles. "True. True." His datapad flickers grabbing his attention for a few seconds. "Okay here is the report from my experts. They can't find anything indicating that you cheated. However just because they can't find it doesn't mean it didn't happen." His tone goes from the pleasant host, to a much meaner serious one and he is now sitting leaning forward speaking in a low tone. "They tell me that Dood here was pretty hard to find on the recording. They had to triple check to find when you even walked in here today. And you set up shop looking at Mr So Leet's table trying very hard not to be noticed for a long while before going up to see him and say hi. That Mr. Amm'nel is something we see in teams running our tables often, and quite frankly I don't take kindly to this. I don't take kindly to this at all. And Mr Leet, your betting habits were pretty amazing was it not? You came in here with just over 100 credits and are walking out with a 27,000% gain in revenue. On games that droids don't even do that well on." He pounds his fist on the desk and grits his teeth. He pauses and recomposes himself. "I want you to explain how you two meatheads did this, and you better be clear on how it happened, otherwise this will end badly for both of you."

Dood raises his hand to speak, hoping that So Leet allows him to speak first. He finishes his rum and sets down his glass.

"My behavior is completely understandable from our perspective. The Cerean, here, was having a good night at the tables. He knew that I had a large number of credits in my possession, which I'm sure your men already reported to you - roughly ten thousand credits. Now, this money is in my keeping for the acquisition of transit to Bryx - preferably a ship of our own. Mr. Leet, here, requested that I bring that money with me to the casino. I can only assume that he was hoping to be able to use it as additional seed money for what you both say is quite the impressive win-streak.

I'm sure you can understand if I was more than a little wary of walking into an unknown situation with 10,000 credits just because I was called. I also couldn't very well simply leave the money in my hotel room, as that could just have easily have been the hope of some would-be thief trying to separate me from the money.

Before approaching my colleague here, I watched from the wings to ensure that he was not under duress and that no one was laying in wait for me to show up so that they could take the money by force. One can never be too safe.

Once I was satisfied that there was no trap waiting to be sprung, I made my way over to the table to inquire as to how I may be of service."

"Mr. Eshan, I can understand your concern. You must realize Cerean brains are designed to out think opponents in games which require some semblance of knowledge and logical thought patterns. It is just how we are designed. I can assure you there was never any questionable behavior on our part. I asked my colleague to join me after I noticed I had started winning quite decisive hands. Not that I questioned the security of your fine establishment, but I was concerned about other gamblers who may have had cause to apprehend me while leaving during the night. And as you've already discerned I am more the thinking type, not built to defend myself, which is the reason Mr. Amn'Nell was called to join me. He also carried a large sum of credits I was planning on wagering had my luck not run as it had. He is as you stated my "handler" when it comes to ways of the galaxies. I was merely concerned for my well being, and it was the reason that I asked your pit boss about a room for the evening. Figuring a location such as this should be as secure as I could be when winning."
Ain't no lying or deception here.

@ Syric The waitress gives you a bottle of Rodian Ale (Summer Brew!) and mentions that some big winner who matches the description of So Leet was taken up to meet the Casino Director.

Meanwhile upstairs

@ So Leet and Dood

"You expect me to believe this shit about you being lucky and you lurking in the shadows in case chrome dome here is laying a trap?" He shouts then in an even terse tone, "Look I work for very, very, very powerful people who do not like being screwed out of their money. Have either of you dipshits heard of the Exchange? Do either of you know who Sargo is? Do either of you know about the massacre on Dantooine for people who hijacked one of his runner ships?" He walks around to the front of his desk and half sits on the front end. "Let me tell you that story, because I think it will illustrate the severity of who you are messing with. Sargo's got ships. Lots of ships. He's a big time player. Anyway one of his ships was carrying something pretty nonessential, maybe it was black market medical supplies, maybe it was counterfeit designer clothes. It doesn't matter. Especially to a guy like Sargo. So anyway so this ship was flying along getting ready to make the jump to hyperspace when some jammers hit the ship preventing the jump. So this freighter is just stalled there. The crew starts to panic because there had been some reports of pirates in the system and low and behold what latches on and comes in through the hatch? Pirates. Big mean sons of bitches. Vets from the Mandalore wars, not the Republic side either. So they come in kill the captain enslave the other 4 people on the crew and fly back to this little hamlet in the middle of nowhere on Dantooine. Two weeks pass and when Sargo hears that a shipment was missed he gets pissed. Now remember this ain't like precious jewels or credits, this crap merchandise. The thing that offended Sargo was that anyone had the balls to touch his stuff. So he calls up his lieutenant Montigue. Now Monty is a bright guy and he tries to talk Sargo out of what he wants to do, but Sargo insists so Montigue does what he asks. This small village of maybe 150 refugees from the Mandalorian wars who set up shop on Dantooine gets a small group of visitors. Now you both know that the Mandalorians aren't the kind of people to back down from a fight, you know that they worship war as a god. Well I'll tell you that every single man and woman and child died slow horrible deaths tied up watching everyone they loved dying beside them. Sargo does not mess around."

Mr Eshan pauses and says softly. "Now I want you two meatheads to think long and hard for a second. Don't speak, just think for a minute first. I want you to tell me what happened here tonight." He returns to his seat.

"Just based on what you've shared with us, I wish I was lying. I'd rather not cross an individual such as that. I swear to you we are telling the truth. Were there some way beyond a shadow of a doubt to prove that to you I would. I've heard the name Sargo mentioned once or twice. I do understand the magnitude of what you're implying. Unfortunately aside from your own experts in the realm of games of chance, your own security cameras, and the fact that I'm telling you the truth, I really have no idea what else I can do to prove it to you. Would you like me to take my winnings to another rival casino and see if my luck holds with them and make them lose money benefitting you that way?"
So Leet is apparently getting very flustered. Not in a guilty sort of way, just in the fact that anyone would question a Cerean's honesty.

Taking the bottle he smiles at the waitress, "Ah thank you miss, I'm hoping this hits the spot" he says as he brings the bottle up to his lips, his mind almost connects to a fond memory of religious bliss before it is all lost and he sets the bottle down and wipes a single tear that had started to form from his eyes.

Syric opens up his commlink and tried to contact Dood, "Dood, where the hell are you? I'm at the casino and So Leet's been taken up to the Casino Director's office. What is going on?"
