@ Klak, you sleep wonderfully
@ Syric Your discussions and and conversations with the people at Seo reveal that the two casino's in town are owned by lieutenants for Sargo. He sometimes comes through town, but not often. And Tson'tar is a mid 50s man who frequents an outdoor cafe near the gardens for breakfast. He is usually dressed in a white suit and is fond of his tea. Not much else is known about him. The person who gave you that information is a waitress at that cafe, who's sister works at the casino as a dealer.

"I'll try to find Klak and head over" Syric says before looking down at the full drink he had purchased earlier "I need something better to do anyways."and begins to walk out of the cantina.Dood wrote:[ooc]Assuming that I have successfully taken position to secretly watch So Leet play with himself[/ooc]
Dood moves to a dark corner and uses his CommLink to get a hold of Syric.
To Syric: "The Cerean is doing quite well for himself at the tables. Do you think that you can bring the Zabrak or Mr. Migs to the casino? I think all of us clumping together would be a mistake, but I think that when he and I exit it might not be a bad idea to have some friendly blasters nearby."
"Klak, where the hell are you? You've got bodyguard duty at the casino, I'll buy you drink if you get there quick." Syic says into the commlink

@ Cuspar and Eli. Cuspar arrives at the gladatorial arena to a mid-sized crowd. Tickets are 15 credits (your balance is now 510). The crowd is luke warm as it is clearly early in the work week and this event is to fill seats as best they can. There are posters advertising the big name fights later in the week. The line up is a series of 4 fights and there is a window allowing you to bet on the fights (limit 500cr total bets). Eli because of his weight is listed as a 4 to 1 payout.
(I'm pausing to see if Cuspar wants to bet on Eli before I go through the fight)

As he is walking, Syric pulls out his commlink again "Bulwark, So Leet is having a lucky streak at the Casino. The Bothan's there and I've asked Klak to meet me there as well. I don't know where the others are and I don't really care, I think they're more talk than action. Anyways, the casino is owned by a lieutenant of Sargo, so I just wanted to make you aware of our situation."

Re: The Taris Event Chapter 2
@Dood and So Leet
You two (three if you count So Leet's drink) are escorted off the casino floor and into an elevator that takes up up several floors. You are flanked by 4 guards each as stern as the one who took you from the casino floor. You are led down a series of bare corridors twisting and turning. You each get lost with the speed by which you move and the similarities of each corridor. Finally you are escorted through doors into a front office to a set of large double wooden doors. The security guards pat you each down removing all weapons and comm links from your possession.
"Mr. Ehsan will see you now." You are taken through the doors and see a human male with a receding hair line, a face that has clearly seen much welcome you with a big smile. He has a very casual attire on and has large gold bracelets and necklaces adoring his figure.
"So this is the big winner!" He says pointing at So Leet. "Lady be a luck, and you are a ladies man am I right? You've got a drink. What about your friend. Bothan, I'm sorry I didn't catch your name, can I pour you some whiskey or brandy, or maybe some rum?"

"I was just enjoying myself. We, Cereans, aren't normally gamblers, even though our logical mind allows us to analyze the perspective of the game in a very unemotional way. Your men had mentioned the winnings, I was hoping to be able to collect them and be on our way at your earliest convenience. Not that I haven't enjoyed the hospitality of your establishment, we just have some business in Bryx. And my companions and I would be on our way as soon as possible."
Perception x2 - 14+10 = 24 Does he react to the naming of Bryx as our destination.
20+10 = 30 Do they seem like they are going to be handing over cash anytime soon, I.E. are they reaching for pistols, am I standing on a sheet of plastic, are there droids in the corner sharpening knives on a surgery table... ya know, things like that.

"Oh but of course. I didn't catch your name either." He says sitting in his chair speaking to So Leet. The guards are at the door standing blocking the exit but not arming themselves openly. There are no droids or plastic. This is just a large very very nice office with a wall of vid screens covering every angle of the casino. "We just like to get to know our big gamblers personally. I'm sure you understand it will take a short bit of time to get that much cash ready for you. So what are your names again?"

My name is So Leet. I am recently removed from the planet Cerea. Traveling and exploring.
I'm assuming at this point I'd have been informed by our magnanimous DM whether I had any open warrants or questionable groups looking for my shapely head.

Re: The Taris Event Chapter 2
@ Cuspar and Eli.
Cuspar purchases a ticket on wagering 400 and paying our 1600 if Eli wins. You find a seat mid way up from the ring and see a crowd starting to get excited for the first match up. Eli and a man easily 20 centimeters taller and probably 20kgs as well. Cuspar can't help but think that weight divisions might be more fair. The other man removes his robe to reveal a very fit and toned body with much muscle mass.
"In this corner we have Davitakka!!!! Straight out of the fight academy in Mos Espa he is looking to make his way in the big city with another win here on amateur night! Remember last week when he took down Watuso in 2 minutes? Can he repeat that tonight?" The ring announcer/ref says.
"His challenger is known as Eli! We weighs in at" He pauses to double check "He weighs in at 88 kilos and is a proud 175 centimeters?! Let's give a warm welcome to ELI!!!!!!" The announcer forgets to cut his mic when he whispers to the guy next to him "That kid is gonna get killed. Oh shit it is on?" The mic cuts out. The crowd erupts with laughter.
Eli and Davitakka come to the center of the ring and touch each other palms extended as a sign of respect then back up to their lines in a large octagonal cage 20 meters across. The buzzer sounds and Davitakka bounces a little making taunts and bobbing his head a bit here and there. Eli in a very relaxed pose isn't bouncing at all. Davitakka winds up a punch and launches a powerful right hook towards Eli, who ducks out of the punch effort stepping towards his side. Davitakka spins around and says "Aw you are one of them fast little shits. Yeah I got your number now." He advances fists bobbing up mid chest and starts moving in towards Eli witha small bounce in his steps. Eli remains motionless with his arms still down. The crowd is booing him.
Davittaka starts off with a left jab which Eli leans out of to be greeted with right jab. Eli lifts his left arm quickly to knock the shot away. The crowd has a light cheer for that happy to see contact finally being made.
Davittaka is a bit surprised with the force that Eli swatted away his jab. He angrily launches into a left hook. Eli lurches back to miss the blow and as he straightens back up he kicks the upper calf on Davitakka's left leg which is still pushing his left hook across his body. This attack throws Davitakka off his balance and causes a stagger step while Eli repositions a few steps back.
"Aw hell no. You did not just do a Fortelli attack. You might have studied a few gambits, but your gambits are about to meet my fist!" Davitakka says loudly as he lumbers towards Eli. The crowd is loving the trash talk.
Eli shrugs comically throwing his hands up like he is not remotely scared of the large man coming at him. The crowd laughs as Davitakka launches another left hook throwing his full weight into it. Eli quickly moves to the side, grabs Davitakka's wrist pulling through in a arcing motion and slaps Davitakka on the ass as he runs by. The crowd is warming up to Eli with some hooting and hollering. Eli does a small curt bow to the crowd.
Davitakka assumes a more defensive stance bobbing a bit with his hands up fists open and loose. "We'll see how good you really are" He says.
Eli stretches his neck to each side and launches into a flurrly of jabs, chops and knees coming at Davitakka in a leaping bound. Davitakka is hard pressed to block the shots reeling back towards the wall. Eli backs up a little crouches spreading his stance extends his left arm and makes a 'coem at me' motion. The crowd is errupting with excitement. Davitakka starts running coking his right arm back and getting ready to leap into an attack when Eli springs up and does a swift roundhouse kick knocking Davitakka to the ground motionless.

"Tattoine isn't that far away from Bothawui." He says bring up each of your profiles up on the large vid screens behind him. Clearly an official ID card image. "Mr. Dood Amm'nel son of Koth Amm'nel travels a good deal, no major run ins with the law. A wayward soul if ever I met one. And Mr. So Leet who had some minor infractions as a kid, but nothing major since then. Maybe Mr. So Leet here just was on a lucky streak, maybe he just is a talented card player against my trained staff. It isn't unheard of that people come in with a credit and a dream and walk out of here with a new start on life. For your sake I really hope that is the case." He sits up rubbing his hands together elbows on his desk. "But before I issue you 27,286 credits, I want to make sure you didn't do anything dishonest. I'm sure you noticed the cameras we have all around." The large screen starts showing So Leet sitting at the table playing in a fast forward manner with pauses, zooming, panning and rewinding. "I think you both understand. While my experts review the footage of your big night I figured we could have a little chat. Share a drink. Allow me to extend my hospitality." Dood takes the seat closest to him. Sips his rum, which is very good, and he raises the glass in a small toasting gesture toward his host.
"An excellent vintage if ever there was one. The thing that makes Bothan rums so good is the fact that unlike other rum makers, Bothans ferment the raw juice from the bothascai grass rather than using it for sugar and then fermenting the waste. It's more expensive to make, but its superiority over the other styles is readily apparent."
