@Tony and Syric You both take the alleyway north. Stealth is rather easy as this alley has less activity than the previous so you are able to move slightly faster than before without any problems. The wooden structure a street over has some roars and whipping sounds coming from it. You make it to the next major W/E street interchange. You figure you are probably 2 more "blocks" from the purple seige weapon. The alley extends north if you wish to continue or you can take teh main street W or E.

@Syric you are about 2 blocks west and 2 blocks south of the seige tower. The blocks are longer on the N/S dimension than the E/W dimension by a factor of like 6 to 1.

Assuming the main road is still relatively clear we'll head east the 2 block before cutting north again to finish our trip to the first seige tower.Blackferne wrote: ↑Mon Feb 13, 2017 5:27 pm@Syric you are about 2 blocks west and 2 blocks south of the seige tower. @Syric and Tony
You two walk eats for two blocks, then turn north on the major N/S road leading to the seige tower. As you get a block away you see the tower has a large tent at its base. There are a few guards near the tent entrance and some weird purple light emitting out. There is also a scream and some harsh language shouts coming form inside.

Can we suck down an alley and observe, preferably somewhere we can try to see through the tent flap.

Re: LPDnD: You'll Never Walk Alone
From what we've seen, would it look out of place to just have the two of us hanging about or are they running a tight ship and not allowing for loitering?
Also, have we seen any signs of the wagons supposedly loading this place up or the path they would take?

@Tony and Syric
You can go down an alley and peak around the tents to watch teh road leading to the tent flaps however you can't really see into teh tent flaps without getting closer to teh guard. There are cart tracks leading to the tent flaps on the tower and they seem to be going back towards that wooden structure a few blocks south you saw. There are periodic guards roaming but you guys are in uniform and the army is large enough not everyone knows everyone.

Tony is thinking alley to observe, although I'm pretty sure he's put 2+2 together and gotten 4 about what's going on.
[Ooc] Our orders were only to observe and figure out what they are doing with the towers, the sabotage was Tony's idea correct?[/ooc]

Re: LPDnD: You'll Never Walk Alone
[OOC Sabotage was on the list but secondary, they where more interested in the carts and intel on the devices. So depending on how much time has past could be get some general info on the huts and head back at this point, with plans to come back again at some point.]
Blackferne wrote: The mission should you choose to accept it is to find out what the purple light is and what is in those carts. And if possible to blow up one or both of those things. I'll say outright the secondary objective is idealistic, it if better for us to know what it is so if sabotage is not possible just find out what is in the carts, and maybe a brief description of the huts, and return."
Re: LPDnD: You'll Never Walk Alone
"Should we wait for a wagon to roll by?" Syric whispers to Tony.

Re: LPDnD: You'll Never Walk Alone
"Yes. Tony Plush suspects that they are sacrificing the prisoners kept in that wood structure to build up a charge for a magical trebuchet so to speak, and the carts are when they are bringing in captives for the sacrifice. But it would be good to see them bring a cart in to confirm."
Tony whispers back

Re: LPDnD: You'll Never Walk Alone
@Tony and Syric you watch patiently and hear the door in the wooden structure creak open and some yelling "Load us you scaley bastard. No biting of you'll get the lash." A whining hiss in reply followed by a crack sound. A moment later the caged cart rolls by with the dragonkin to the tent flaps at the base of the purple tower. When the flaps open you see what looks to be a purple pool of energy on the ground. The flaps close after the cart closes.
From the direction of teh wooden shed you hear a yell "Acht cha lok GOBO FRAGGLE ta chalka pho!"

Re: LPDnD: You'll Never Walk Alone
Tony will look at Syric and whisper "Did you hear that...Gobo..."
Tony intends to wait to see how long the cart stays in the tent.
How many men were with the cart?
Did they enter while still pushing the cart?
Do the same men bring the cart out?
Is the cart empty when it come out?
Do they say anything to the guards when they bring the cart up?
Are they regularly uniformed men moving the cart?
If you can't see where this is going obviously Tony is considering an attempt at scoping the inside by taking a cart and prisoner in.

Re: LPDnD: You'll Never Walk Alone
The cart is in for a while (greater than 15 minutes) it hasn't come out yet. I'm assuming 15 minutes pushes the boundary of how long you'll wait before I feel the need to ask you if you wish to keep wiating. The cart was bars containing one bound dragonkin. It was pushed by 3 men. They didn't say anything to the tent guards, but just nodded/ They were wearing uniforms like yours as best you can tell. They did push the cart into the tent fully (the purple pool doesn't occupy the entirety of the tented area, there is workspace around it. It has a diameter of like 15ft.)Furiel wrote: ↑Tue Feb 21, 2017 5:53 pmTony will look at Syric and whisper "Did you hear that...Gobo..."

Nodding to the Major, Trinal will move toward the door. Once outside it, he says to the Major quietly "I'm thinking we should talk to Ashorkal next. Would you agree?"
