The Last of Us- Remastered

Post by Marrkin » Mon Jul 28, 2014 9:18 pm

I plan on picking up my copy tomorrow.

Thought I might start a thread so we can discuss the awesome differences that we love or hate, even though Cuspar will still be M.I.A. for a little while, and maintains his "sucks" status for doing so :shun:

I really wish I could afford a PS4 and that game. I never played the first one either, but damn if t don't look good.

Did you watch the live event tonight? The actors performed scenes from the game on stage, was on Twitch, the PSN and youtube.

HAHA no, I'll have to check it out on YT later. Super Awesome that the movie is now confirmed too!

Jimer, if ye got a PS3... there will be a TON of used copies showing up @ Gamestop's. They were offering the PS4 version for half-price with the PS3 version trade-in.

Even the PS3 version is unbelievably good... Hell, I could have driven it down to ya if you are still here in Olympia (but I already traded it in lol)

I don't have a PS3, or I'd take you up on that. Just an XBox and Wii U.

I've gone the entire lifetime of the PlayStation without even being slightly interested in a single title that was exclusive to the platform until The Last of Us. As nice as it looks, it's not enough to make me drop the cash on it. So, nope. ;)

The Last of Us is one if the very few games worth buying a system for just one game. If you don't have the means to play it, get on twitch or YouTube, because the story is amazing.

I won't be home for another 19 days but I'll be all over this game like white on rice when I am.

I'm only up to the "snowstorm" town now. Decided that was a good point to put it down and take a break. I realized I had been spending some much time focused on my consoles and recliner that I was going to burn myself out before Destiny came, which was not acceptable to me.

I will be returning to my PS4 the day Destiny is in my hands though, and I may dabble beforehand. I seriously mean "the day" as I am taking the afternoon of Sept 9th off from work lol....

Also, been kickin around the idea of pickin up Diablo 3. I played the living crap out of it on my PC, but would definitely give it a go on the PS4... not sure if anyone is interested in some co-op action??

I am off the day of the 9th. Diablo 3 has tempted me on PS4. Two of my friends playing Last of Us multiplayer that I hoped to join, have bought D3 and now that is all they play.

Oh, on Grounded difficulty, no ammo counter, no health counter, no button prompts, and no listen mode.

Well, 5 times on the main game, and 2 times on the Left Behind, I don't really have anything left since multiplayer kind of sucks. Picked up Diablo 3 to hold me over until Destiny.
