Using the video from that link, I just went from 21 to almost 23. Tons of loot. Cryptarch level 4, almost 5 now.

Aye.... Cryptarch 5, almost 6.

Got a Legendary Sniper Rifle last night, otherwise most the loot was craptastic. The flip side of that is that there was SO MUCH OF IT! Between the cave-shootout and dismantling greens, I think I picked up nearly 3-4k Glimmer as well.

We gotta get you other peeps out there, as mundane as it became, it was still ridiculously fun to just light up a cave-hole.

Reminded me of the 3rd Matrix movies where all the APU's were shooting the machine breach in the ceiling of the Zion Dock.

Light up a cave hole is my new favorite phrase. I think I just scared everyone at work. I don't know what will drop for this below 20, but you will get xp.

I too would like to light up a cave-hole.

3 public events dropped right on top of us the hour or so we did this. That will get you marks, that daily and the bounty.

I would think gear for their level but would defiantly help improve the Cryptarch levels early.

I don't remember what exactly I got for getting gold on one of the public events last night on the moon patrol, I think it was some light and an engram. But I'm down for whatever, I feel like I'm starting to get better which will help on the tougher content.

You are not allowed to say this near Abuse Clinics, Daycares, Elementary Schools, or Gay clubs.

Completing one Public Event daily nets you a reward from the postmaster. Usually a Mote of Light and something else....

They are totally worth doing.

How did everyone do last night?

1 Purple Engram & a couple motes of light.

The purple came out to be a sweet Hand Cannon, so no complaint there. Nothing else of note.

Think I want to run strikes tonight/tomorrow. I am 4 Strange Coins short of purchasing an exotic from Xur.

Also, forums are blowing up with hate for folks that are lighting up the cave-hole. Seems to be a large topic of controversy. I find this funny since there isn't a game out there anymore without some sort of farming quirk.

But, 1.5 evenings of it and I'm kinda bored of it already.

I was looking on the app, at 50 strikes you get a bonus to rare and legendary engrams dropping in strikes. My progress bar shows 39/50 strikes. I am cool with doing strikes, but I might farm for a little bit at some point. If anything, you will for sure get a public event while doing it.

Aye, I'm at I think 30/50 ... would just like to experience them more with y'all folks. The more we run this stuff and get used to killing together, the better it's gonna be down the road. Besides, I know I'll still farm when I'm super bored, or those times I log in and nobody else is on yet.

MMO instance/raiding skill at its finest right?

Also, I think I figured out my headset issues, so hopefully tonight my comm's will be a little better. basically a "PEBKAC" error....

The xp for that is ridiculous. For me I could have cared less about the loot, 6 levels in 2 hours is insane. Although I did get a few decent items and a couple engram levels out of it, which was nice.

You say that now, but once you hit 20 you that is the easiest way to get the engrams needed to get the light to go beyond that.

It sucks that the app doesn't show my new exotic helmet correctly.

Ok.. that's actually kind of funny. I would expect they will be fixing it since they have the vendor selling it.

Instead of the yellow tint mask and the blue light escaping, it looks like the ears on Batman's cowl.

Semi - productive weekend so far... got the exotic helmet from Xur, used my motes and got an exotic chest armor for my Hunter.... also managed to get my exotic Bounty for a Pulse Rife, which is gonna take a while to finish lol.

Dinged Vanguard lvl 2 also and grabbed a Legendary Chest Armor and Boots. Capped out for the weekly VG marks now though

I got an exotic helmet for a Hunter from a Legendary drop in the cave. I also capped my marks last night.

I'm gonna be running Strikes damn near non-stop for a couple days I think. I need to knock out 25 of them.... good thing is level doesn't matter. Just need to finish 25 strikes. Also since VG Marks reset tomorrow @ 2am... it'd be a good thing to run strikes anyway.
