Did you know you need an original SWG install disc to use SWGEmu?? I assume I threw mine away ages ago.

Are they still doing obnoxiously frequent server wipes? I played for a little while but hated having to constantly start over.

Just the disc or will the Steam copy work? Finally threw away both swg copies when I moved.

ORIGINAL discs, apparently. Can be JtL or the collection as well.

I THINK I have both of my original disk copies AND my JTL disk as well. I'll check tonight since I didn't plan on logging in beyond checking my toons tonight anyway.

Doesn't seem to be any conflict with the guild name, so that's nice. Guild bank is intact too.

Seeing quite a few guild names with "@ Canderous Ordo" for example, gonna be some grumpy groups. Two instances of fleet up already, server came up about 15 mins ago apparently, 241 in the instance I'm on...

Lost my Vanguard's name... AGAIN. Durai to Dasem to Drallen.

That's the only one I've lost, however.

So what're they down to now? 3 servers? And with the founders of BW retiring today (I've got $200 that says they found another company independant of EA) who knows what the future holds...

One of them said he was working on charities and things and education for new entrepreneurs etc.

They sold the company for $500 million last year. They have only been on as consultants. Or so goes the Edmonton gossip.
