See I'm torn. On the one hand I can play now which would be great. But the downside is there will be limited playtime, it won't be a finished product(read lots of bugs), there will be repeated wipes of character progress. And all that would be frustrating. And since I am already limited in my playtime as it is, I don't know if I want to deal with all that or just patiently wait for later.

Have you even applied to be in Beta? I apped on day 1 the forums were available, I have no invite yet though.

I'm bored of EQ2 and have been playing my Wii alot more lately, but if I got the chance to play beta you bet your ass I would. Although I'd be very tempted, and likely would, play something I have no intention of playing as a main or alt at luanch so I can help polish the game and also gather intelligence about gameplay mechanics, etc to help us all transition into the game easier, all while not ruining the story of my intended characters at launch.

I would like just to try and make it a more finished product when it was finally released.

Signed up ages ago. Even updated it when I got Windows 7 and my Quad-Core. I fully expect to be accepted to the server stress test 3 days before retail launch.

Of course now my desktop isn't online anyway...

I just wish there was a way to post multiple system in your app, because I have 3 PCs, one older 1 running XP, my laptop running Vista and my media PC running win7, so they could theoretically get 3 platform tests from 1 user if they were to let me in...

Oddly enough there was an email about an Alpha test in my email... Project S from Microsoft though... been in that for a couple months and this email was basically yelling at people for talking to Kotaku about the game ) Wasn't me!
