1. What is your name?
Renath. Unless people start calling me Ole again...
2. What is your attraction to the Church of Alvis?
This dude, Sniperwolf or something, insisted I apply because y'all are a bunch of cool people. Good enough reason for me.
3. Please describe in detail your favorite gaming moment. This should be a good story not just a one liner like "I beat Mario, the credits rolled. It was awesome."
I feel like "I beat Shadow of the Colossus" should be valid here, but I guess I'll type up something.
So, I got Ico finally, and had been playing it for a while. I was enjoying the visuals along with the slower pace gameplay, until I reach this courtyard type area. Shadow creatures swoop outta nowhere, like they always do, and I get ready to do my normal defend the helpless girl act I've been doing the entire time, flawlessly. About 30 seconds into the fight, one of the flying shadows swoops in, grabs poor helpless Yorda, and flies off. I start chasing after it, only to realize the actual scale of the room I am in, and how many monsters had actually been running amok while I defended my tiny corner of the room. Suffice to say, by the time I finally made it through the confusing mess of stairs to the portal Yorda was dragged in to, it was too late. The insanity of that one chase made that game so much better.
