Looks like the Blackferne name could live on, after all...

Pros: Blackferne is not something I expect people to try and grab quickly like a Starkiller or Strife or something along those lines.

Cons: Waiting until about level 30 to secure it does make me nervous. If by chance someone were to steal my name I'd be pretty pissed. Like really pissed. Also the normal complaints about having alts with other last names, how can a Twi'lek and a Zabrak have the same name etc etc. We'll see how it is actually implemented.

Overall it should be fine for me though.

Good they clarified it so the uniqueness is server only which makes the possibility of a bizarro blackferne popping up drop. That is a relief.

Also now every server gets a Starkiller!

Finally, a game mechanic that justifies me adding "anudo" to the end of all my characters.

So we don't have last names when we start out?

And can first names be duplicated on a server?

Is it really 30 levels to finish the first storyline chapter?

More or less... depending on when you actually finish the quests... it could be a level or two later now that mob difficulty has been tweaked. I'm half way into 29 and just got to Alderaan, which is the last part of Act I for me, and it's a "28-32" planet.

If you do a lot of Flashpoints and Heroics, all the side quests and some random trash mob grinding, you could be 35.

I've been trying to come up with a legacy name for my characters since the system was first announced and today I think I finally came up with one.

Scylla

And it will always be displayed at The Scylla Legacy

Good choice.

My goal is to get to the Legacy name as fast as I can and pick 'Blackferne'. Do you think anyone would mind?

"The Alvian Legacy" sounds fairly prestigious. Is that considered sacrilege in the eyes of Alvis?

That or "The Vengeful Legacy" or even "The Drunken Legacy" would also be appropriate.

I would rage quit this guild in an epic fashion. WHICH may or may not involve a gasoline fueled fire on your 2 seat sporty car.

We could each choose a guildmate's name as "The X Legacy", creating a mobius loop of legacatical thingys.

I've actually been considering Sivla as well. This may be a backup plan if Scylla is either taken or restricted.

Or maybe Drunkenmaster

Furiel Drunkenmaster does have a nice ring...

Or Arrican Mangravy.
