July 29 = Armageddon

Post by Dood » Tue Jul 06, 2010 6:13 pm

The trial date for my divorce, that I filed for more than 2 years ago, is set for July 29.

On that day I get to A) Remove the albatross from around my neck and B) Find out if I'm replacing it with a $20K new albatross

Either way, it will all finally be over. TFG.

I'd go for the new Albatross GT. Sure, it is a little more expensive, but the base model doesn't come with curb feelers.

I WISH I had that much certainty right now...

But good to hear that you are almost to the finish line. I'll be sure to raise a pint that night.

Let me just put it this way, there is disputed assets which meant Dood has been bickering with the ponies technically married while Arrican got married, celebrated a one year anniversary, filed for divorce and has been done with it for 6 months.

So you're finally getting away from your abusive husband, huh? I'm proud of you. I really am.

The real question is, did you get to keep half the ponies?

No, but I did keep all of the rum.

BTW, for those of you that never saw what MY collection turned into...

A few months after separation:

3 months ago, when everything fit onto shelves (it doesn't anymore):

The neat thing is that that collection cost me about $2000 over 2 years. The vast majority of it was free.

Don't forget the extra mannequins to go with them. Get them disfigured too, that way they can wear your bowling shirts and fedoras to look like a dysfunctional rat pack.

That is one sweet collection. My divorce was simple, sweet and quick but then again it was all around short lived. Glad to know it is about to be settled for you.

If you snuggle with your new girlfriend during court recesses, the albatross may simply implode, saving everyone the trouble.

That's actually a fermentation bucket for making beer.

WTF? Why no wood cask? Your beer will taste like shit in that plastic bucket. At least use an oversized glass one from home goods/Ikea.

The bucket is for fermentation.

I have 2 oak casks for aging. My 3 gallon used Rye cask from Tutthilltown is currently aging rum though.

Here's a present for Dood...

Nearly half-way through 2008 on S*P... I'm tempted to email him and invite him to become an Alvian.
