So what'd people do for Halloween? I went up to Wisconsin, to the House on the Rock for the 'Gathering of the Gods'. It was basically a Neil Gaiman convention with the theme of American Gods and it was pretty awesome. Met Neil, of course, and had some stuff signed. There were a lot of cool costumes, of course, and the House on the Rock itself was pretty cool to see.

Ha. You live in Wisconsin, Furiel? I hadn't known that. If I had, I could have set up a meet and such. We met with my sister-in-law's friend who lives in Madison and works as a upper level manager for Humana.
Yeah, we saw and talked to Pat Rothfuss. He was doing panels on Saturday and was pretty entertaining. Portly fellow with a beard.

Shit, now I'm really pissed, I live 10 minutes north of Madison...
You're sister-in-law's friend hiring by the by? I hate my current job with the white hot rage of 1000 suns...

I took my daughter trick or treating (she didn't seem to like it that much) and then we all sat in the driveway handing out candy (she loved that part) and I drank beer.

I wouldn't like it much either if my father kept eating my damn candy.

Safety first!
Also my neighbors gave out crappy candy or weren't there at all (Bulwark!) so we gave her all the M&Ms she wanted while we handed out stuff.

He didn't need beer goggles, if that's what you're asking... She's the one in blue.

Is that the new promo picture for the Westminster Dog Show? Eh....seems they get more inbred every year.
*ZING*
But congrats all the way around and she should seriously get checked for STD's.
